good insight...

Well, lack of a Pass Rush against a good o-line. AJ could have made sandwiches (too bad he couldn't make throws) in the pocket

I can agree with that... Against crappier teams we get away with it, but when we rush 4 or 5 and drop into zone we don't match up particularly well with routes out of the backfield (accounts for most of those TR all-purpose yards). I'm pretty sure that's kind of a no-cover rally to make the tackle type scheme but tackling Richardson in the open field is no easy task. That would be my one pet peeve with this team, but I agree it is getting nitpicky...

sick...
I'll probably be there... I usually go every year regardless of who's playing.
fielding a punt at the 1   SUPERMAN

The few games he has played true corner he looked good to me. He gave up that 1 big play where he actually tipped the ball and the guy still caught it but besides that, lights oput.

Needless to say, Mo Claiborne got the huge interception return the next play. On the play you were referring to, Tyrann could have probably picked it off if he would have gotten closer to the receiver before turning around... made a freakishly athletic play just to get a touch on it, followed by a great catch by the receiver. He is so great technically that I think those types of plays are not likely to happen this week.

Back to the OP, Tyrann is not the best player on the field... but he may have the biggest impact.
November 11 in San Diego :doublebird:
that was a sick pass... and a sicker catch
I think it was because his body was covering the ball, so you couldn't really tell if it had been jarred loose before he hit the ground... I still think it was pretty obviously not a fumble.

He was right about the call... I would never call a timeout just to get extra time to chew out the refs, though. Some players respond well to a coach that will stick up for them like that.
Gary Crowton isn't beating anyone...
