Mahendra Patel was looking for Tylenol in a Georgia Walmart two months ago when he encountered a woman with two children – riding a motorized cart she was driving – and asked her for help to find the medication, his lawyer says.

What happened next, the woman would allege, was that Patel grabbed her 2-year-old son from her, and she pulled the child back. A grand jury would later indict Patel on charges including attempted kidnapping – accusations for which he’s been jailed in Georgia’s Cobb County without bond for more than 40 days.

But Patel has a different explanation, which his lawyer says is backed by surveillance video: He was just trying to make sure the boy didn’t fall from the scooter, which the lawyer claims had just clipped a store display.

I have no idea who he is. Today he popped up on my Twitter feed for the first time with that tweet and thought it was funny.

use it as the next big grift

Grift? Jensen doesn't give me those vibes at all. Dude has been focused on making the best GPUs and building an ecosystem around it for almost 3 decades. The whole crypto boom and the AI boom was Nvidia having the right products at the right time. Not sure you can call that grift.

Anybody buying $NVDA today?

Or has DeepSeek put Nvdia on a permanent Cisco like trajectory a la early 2000s?

"That's weird. Weren't we reliably informed that these people are just as American as us. So why are they all waving Mexican flags?"
With everyone having a check mark these days it's hard to say what's fake and what isn't.
