Thanks for the advice, I definitely want him to have a good nose as he will also be used to track wounded deer.

I agree 100 percent. Im not into dogs with high dollar bloodlines, more about how the parents are in my opinion. I've never been impressed with the field trial dogs that i've hunted with.
