It will get better. My wife and I have each lost parents to suicide. It’s a horrible thing but we’ve gotten through it together. I was sad about my dad when he did it. He was a Vietnam vet and never was able to shake it. My wife’s mom was not a nice person and my wife took it as a big F U when she did it. It’s still sad but she’s mad more than sad. Time heals all wounds.

They used to have a pretty popular tattoo shop in there and I think that Daiquiri Cafe is still open on the left, but I wouldn't visit any business still open around there if I didn't have to. That area was going pretty ghetto in like 1995

Tigers claw tattoo if I remember correctly. That was a long time ago.

I bought a new gooseneck last week. I’ll be treating the boards with 50/50 used oil and diesel mix. They should last a long time out of the weather.

re: Missouri deer lease worth anything?

Posted by pdubya76 on 5/22/25 at 5:01 pm
The individual leasing it needs insurance. That protects you and them. If someone with them falls, is accidently shot, has a four wheeler accident, etc you get it. Also, astrong lease agreement is needed also. If it doesn’t work out and they aren’t taking care of the place you can end it on a certain date. You are asking for trouble if you just let Jimbob with a bushhog have at it. They will have friends and bring guests . That can be fine but you need to document what’s acceptable and what is not.

re: Who on here has starlink?

We have T mobile home WiFi and it’s not good at all. It’s constantly buffering. Every night between 830-9 it goes out completely.
I’ve called and “it’s a known issue” that they are working on. I’m ordering starlink. It’s the best for my area from what i understand.

re: Partial Knee Replacement

I had a total left knee replacement in February. For the first couple weeks I was mad at myself for having it. It was miserable.
It gets better. I stuck with my PT and within 6 weeks I was back to work. It’s been great and I can do everything I want to with minimal pain. The PT sucks and hurts bad but it’s the key to a full recovery.

Maybe not but he knows the business of racing. Id imagine with his experience and connections he could help a struggling team.

Austin is on borrowed time. I can’t see Penske keeping him after firing his dad from the team. He will be gone at the end of the year would be my guess.
Dad will go on to help some struggling race team and bring baby boy with him.

Dr Mark Haussmann did mine in 2011. No issues since.

Kenseth gained a lot of fans that day at Martinsville.
It's only $4k to get a journeyman HVAC/electrical license at the local JUCO. And can pull in 60-90 an hour!
This is what my son did. He graduated yesterday and already has a job. Proud of him.

Fort Morgan

That’s our favorite place. The beaches are nice and not crowded at all. We get a house there for a couple weeks a year. It’s far enough out to get away from the crowds but close enough to town for dinner etc
Try 24hourcampfire. They have a classified section that has a lot of traffic. If it’s priced right, you will sell it there.

I plan on purchasing one in the very near future. I’ll use it for my side business for mulching etc. It will likely used more at home.
I’m looking at 1-2 year old Kubota SVL97’s with a cab and high flow. That size is big enough to get some work done. Make sure you can haul whatever size you get and have a dealer you can trust for service.

CGrand…Totally unrelated to this but what are you building with the old Sammy’s in Central? Saw your sign out front.

You are correct. I grew up in Willowwood acres . Mr Bill would let me fish in his pond when I was growing up. He was always nice and would come talk we were fishing.

Toyo RT’s have served me well. I will be on my 4th set shortly and have no reason to change. They ride quiet, wear good if you rotate them and have plenty traction for when I’m in the woods.
My wife had a brain aneurysm in 2013. It was not ruptured and they found it doing a MRI for her migraines. It wasn’t the cause but glad they did it. It was repaired and she’s been good ever since. That was a tough few weeks between discovering it and getting it fixed. Every headache was wondering if it was rupturing.
