looking forward to the next two weeks for some exciting racing! First time back at Chicagoland and then the excitement of Atlanta at night.

Same. My wife got us tickets to the race in Atlanta. Gonna be a great time followed by a trip to the Smokies.
I will be 50 in September. I have 5 more years and I’m retiring. That will give me 31 years with the same company. I’ll play around with my side business and travel with my wife.

Nice guy. We used to go there all the time. He knows his stuff and has been in it a long time.
The Pit Stop in Liberty, Mississippi. Great burgers and homemade onion rings.

probably wouldn’t go there just because of that

HD Gibbes has excellent steaks . They have an ice filled water trough with beer in it. Grab what you want on the honor system. It’s a cool place.

I have an 87 Big Red 250. I don’t ride it much but it cranks and goes when I need it to. It was a nostalgia buy about 10 years ago and I probably will never get rid of it. It will throw you off if you don’t pay attention to it.
The exact same thing happened to us on a flight into Atlanta a couple years ago. Glad your family and others are ok.

My dad was drafted in early 1966. He went in mid 66 and came home in late 68.

know they used to sell Honda but haven’t been there in years.

They still sell Honda, Yamaha, and Polaris. They were very easy to deal with and don’t have all the extra add on fees that others do.
My company still acknowledges anniversaries. We do 1,5,10,20,30,40 years and retirement. They get a gift and a celebration of some sort. The size and value depends on the time employed.

I am a Kubota guy, but Takeuchi is what I would get if I was buying a skid steer. Although, those new JLB ones with the single extend/retract arm like a telehandler look pretty cool.

I’ve heard and read good things about the Tak. They don’t have much of a dealer presence in my area though.

I’ve had good service with my Kubota equipment. I plan to buy a SVL 75-3 in the next few weeks. My dealer is top notch. That’s an important part of an equipment purchase.
What’s the cost per season? Where at in Wilkinson county ? Pines ?
I own a bulldozer and an excavator. I do side jobs with that. It pays for the machines and it’s something that I enjoy. I’ll ramp it up when I retire in 4.5 years.

but I do wonder if they will seriously consider maybe moving the Coca-Cola 600 to at least Monday (since it is a holiday and a lot of people have off) to give drivers an additional day to process and grieve.

Doubtful. They have TV contracts that they will fulfill. It won’t be the same but like you said, the show will go on. At least the drivers are home this week and aren’t thousands of miles from home. This race will hit different. I’d imagine that the #8 will withdraw.

Kyle Busch out this weekend while he receives treatment for a severe medical issue. They didn’t say what it was but doesn’t sound good.

Mine invited us to dinner and asked how we were going to split the check when they brought it. Not all are created equal.
The trades are underestimated for making serious money.
The coke 600 is Memorial Day weekend. That would be a fun afternoon.

Mine clicked when I first had the surgery. All good and quiet now. I’m at 15 months post op.
