Travis Lovell in Dularge.
We just got back from DC last week. We looked at VRBO and air bnb. We ended up staying in a hotel downtown and enjoyed it. It was close enough to some attractions that were were able to walk. The price was reasonable and uber was always close/reasonable for rides to the main attractions.
The 300 Win has been around a long time and is a proven cartridge for any big game in North America. Ammo is readily available and reasonably priced. If you reload then the PRC could be better for you.
It’s the new toy since it was released on 2022 and gets the hype. The WSM’s were the same 20 years ago and have all but faded away.
I’d stick with the 300 win and never look back.

How big is it now? How big do you want?
Dang. I remember we started listening to him in the early 90’s. My dad would put it on when we were on the way to our hunting spot. Another part of our hunting trips now nothing but a memory.

Try Lamar Case in Brookhaven. Ask for
Jeffrey.
Have you checked the hydraulic suction strainer? They tend to plug/gel up which will cause exactly what you are describing. My dad’s old Farmtrac (ford clone) did that exact same thing. We put a new filter and it was full of goop. The strainer is in the reservoir and was covered in it.

There was definitely a movie theater at Cortana. I saw Gremlins there.

There is a sign on the wall in Ela’s advertising my business if you ever need anything. It’s under the calendar in front of the door. You’ll know it when you see it.

Went to Ella’s kitchen a few weeks ago. It was good. I try to hit up some local places.
The old Guapos. Try the Pit stop on 569/Thompson. Great burgers and homemade onion rings.

What happened with the lil place at the corner of 84 and Burt Jordan road? That used to be my go to place for lunch when I'd get out of the woods. Always seemed like there were a good many people in there at lunch time on the weekends.
You need to try Grannys corner . Head south on Burt Jordan from 84. It’s at the corner of Burt Jordan and Bogue Chitto Rd. Great breakfast and dang near everything you could want for lunch and dinner. Cheap too

Haha looks like it. I live about 6 miles east of Lake Okhissa just off 98 in downtown Smithdale.
I have the joy of working this weekend. Friday and Saturday look to be wet and cool. Sunday highs in amite county is low 30’s during the day with rain forecast. The low Sunday night here is 22 with clear skies hopefully. I’m not concerned about driving to work Sunday morning but Sunday evening may be a little slick. We shall see.

Glad you are on the mend. I’ll be a year on Feb 3 since I had mine done. I’ve come a long way since then and walk pain free without a limp.

have a full knee replacement scheduled for Feb 5. Thanks for the insight.
I had my left knee replaced on Feb 3 of last year. Don’t be afraid of the surgery. I was after reading stories of PT not going well. I can finally get around without a limp. That surgery was painful at first but definitely worth it. The nerve block will make you think you are Superman for the 1st 36 hours. Stay ahead on pain meds for when the block wears off.
My son bought that exact scope for his new rifle. Heck of a deal.

Madden did the plans for our second home. When we contacted him about doing our final home, he said he hated drawing two-story houses. That made my decision easy. I guess business was good enough that he could turn away work.
We ended up using Residential designs in Hattiesburg. He listened to what we wanted and made it happen.

I worked with Cory years ago when he did engineering work. We never had issues with Mr James when we had the property in Gloster that he owned. He was pretty hands off . He didn’t even know how much land he owned and where it was.
