re: Togo Island/Swamp Donkey Sting

Crazy numbers. When I hunted there 20 years ago it was all separate clubs on from the bridge to the river. The one I hunted was 460 acres and was 14-1500 a year. Your family could hunt also. My how things have changed. The common man doesn’t hunt on Togo anymore.

Good luck…hope the family members stay home.
My neighbors are logging today. I ventured way back off the plots for the afternoon sit. Hope they are done next week.

I’ve told my wife for years if I win the powerball, I’m buying Togo.

Yep…not a pine tree anywhere. We had an area they called the blowdown. It was a thicket created by a tornado coming through. It was a deer highway.
No need for corn or any other feed.
I put some Nitto Ridge Grapplers on my son’s truck a few months ago. So far they are wearing well and are quiet.

Speaking more specifically about Togo and Karnac,

I hunted right there across from Karnac lake in Buck Run HC. It was close to the gate for Paradise HC. I loved that place.

Wonder how they caught it. Isn’t SD behind a locked gate. I hunted on Togo a few years ago before primos and SD were involved.

I second Action Transmission in Central. He’s at the corner of Dyer and Blackwater. Great people and great at what they do.

I was planning on buying a Kubota RTV cab machine. That may be on hold now. That would be perfect for running around the woods at home.

Central is good.
We enjoyed a pork sandwich and beans at Paynes bbq. That was probably my favorite. We didn’t get to try Rendezvous.
