Hurd is a beast. Saw him live against Bama. Violent runner. Henry will do what he always does. In the 4th qtr, he will be unstoppable. His line wants that Heisman more than he does. He's a nasty middle linebacker with terrific speed and great technique. You can stop it for a while, but it wears on you, and he gets stronger. He really is unique in what he does.

another Bama fan said he was a scrub, just pointing out he made a huge play in a big game.

DJ did make a huge 4th down tackle against LSU. If LSU gets that 1st down, game over.

Miles outcoached Saban 2 month ago. Its like Ali
/Frazier, no matter what your going to get punched in the mouth really hard.
Great season for both and we can do it again for the next few years because the talent level is incredible for both sides.

Blue print is real easy, just get a defense with multiple future first round picks, a genius defensive minded coach and take 44 days to work on it.
You LSU fans should hold your head up. Your team was awesome this year. That was the most difficult sched in college history and you went 13-1 with an SEC Championship. Nothing to be ashamed of.

That insult is old now. And its not really an insult. They had a pretty darn good team. Not a big name, but well coached and would have beaten every SEC team cept UF that year. ULM in 07 is still an effective slight, however.

not a good idea. I have 6 hardcore LSU fans on board that are depending on me to get them home safe to their family. I am off watch right now, but I come on tower at midnight and these guys want to crew change tomorrow at 6 am and get home to see their wives and kids. The LSU fans I meet out here are really cool, they turned me on to this site. Edit: Oh I see why you are such a little bitch, your an accountant. My LSU buds up here want to kick your arse just for the fun of it.

Agree with the noise in the dome. I was there in 92 when Teague took that pick 6 from Gino. I thought the roof was going to cave in.

Bama didnt just beat a few weak teams, Bama destroyed them. When u compare like opp between Bama/LSU the scores are almost identical. If u go 11-1 in the SEC you are damn good. Bama would kill Ok St in a plus 1 and I hate we dont get to see it. (It was the Big XXII's fault! The SEC and ACC wanted a plus 1 three years ago!)
Not making excuses about 11-5, LSU won fair and square. Bama did have several key injured players by the 2nd half. B. Jones was on one leg, so was Maze. Alex Watkins had a broken hand from the UT game, Mosley still had a cast from his dislocated elbow. Lacy had a bad turf toe. Jessie Williams injured his arm on the first play, Steen had a concussion from the UT game.
Alex Watkins and Cj Mosley will be critical for Bama to stop the option from LSU. They are Bama's fast linebackers and u will see them alot. I also have a feeling that you will see some postion changes on special teams, less first year players and more starters. This game will be different from the first as I expect LSU has some nicked up players that will be healed and new wrinkles to unvail.

This game will not be a blowout by either team. It will be a little higher scoring than the first, but it will not be decided until late in the 4th qtr.
Both teams have too many great players and both coaching staffs are top notch and have a lot of time to prepare. Its going to be another slugfest and points will be hard to come by. Momentum will change hands several times. I predict a 20-17 score. I have no idea who will win. JMO

Who else could even come close to hanging with them? Besides Bama, there is not a team in the country that wouldnt be a 3 score dog to LSU in NOLA.

This was a thread between 2 rabid fanbases that respect each other and will be playing for a NC in 24 days. Bama/LSU was a friendly rivalry before Saban, and probably will be again after Saban, but Bama and LSU have BOTH always hated Auburn. So please see ur way out of this conversation. Note to LSU fans: Before Bama played UT everyone on campus was watching LSU/Aub. When RR scored before halftime, you could hear the roar from downtown to DCH medical Center. LSU had 102,000 extra fans that day saying Geaux Tigers!

Its not a true i phone, I am 45 (old fart)and call all smart phones i phones, its an att pantech with touch screen and keys. good idea about the copy and paste, thanks. The point I am trying to make is that I would be upset with having to beat a team the calibur of LSU twice and Bama should have had to play 1 more game to get in. AND the SEC wanted that to be the case but the Big XII said no. I personally would have loved to watch Bama vs Ok St this weekend.

Sorry, im 20 miles offshore from Cameron and on an i-phone. Salt air makes keys stick and its hard to spot typos on this little screen. Plus u lose ur connection every few min so you gotta go fast or start over. The occ 8 foot swells dont help either. Winter sux in the Gulf!

I dont blame you at all, if Bama had won on 11-5, the LAST team I would want to play for the NC would be LSU. I did get a laugh out of Gundy by even suggesting OK St would score 36 points on LSU. They could play for 20 qtrs and OK ST wouldnt score that many. When these 2 teams play, there are 40 plus players who will be drafted in the next 4 years. Thats incredible, almost a complete NFL team. And about 20 of them will be 1st rounders. LSU will start to feel the pain of being so talented after next year when you guys are going to lose several JRs to the draft. Just like Bama this year, it kills me to think how good Bama would be with Julio, Ingram and Dareus. How bout LSU with PP7? These 2 teams are just on another level from everyone else.

well I did write on a seventh grade reading level so you probably didnt read it because of your educational shortcomings. Maybe one of your literate friends could read it for you and you could comfort yourself with the compliments I gave to a very very good LSU team.
Bama fan admits it is unfair for LSU

This is my first post so I want to make it a good one. I am a Tuscaloosa native and Bama Grad and I work as a captain of crewboats in the Louisiana oil field. (LSU was always my 2nd fav team growing up, my cousin is an LSU grad and I have been to 2 Bama /LSU games in Tiger stadium.) I got to watch the 11-5 game with my (all louisiana) crew in morgan city. They were very gracious after the game and said we may meet again in January. I told my first mate I didnt think it would happen, or be fair for LSU to have to beat Bama twice to win and Bama would only have to win once. However, no one could have predicted the following weeks loses by OK, OK St, Stanford Boise and Oregon. But the BCS got it right. I know LSU fans want to crush Ok St for the title, (which they would) but, LSU and Bama are the 2 best teams this year and if the big 12 wouldnt have stood in the way 3 years ago when M. Slive proposed the plus one, Ok St would have gotten their chance to play Bama to prove their place. Most logical observers know that Bama would have beaten Ok St badly and it would still be LSU vs Bama on the 9th. These 2 teams are two of the best I have ever seen in my 40 plus years of watching college football. If LSU wins I will say they are THE best SEC team in the modern era. Bama is the ONLY team that even has a chance to beat them in the Dome. I have seen Bama win 2 NC in the Dome in person, 79 and 92. Its kinda our home away from home, too. I know some LSU fans are saying Bama doesnt deserves to be there, but in truth they know how good this Bama team is and the perfect season is in doubt. If the Opp was Ok St, you guys could have already booked the trip to the white house to meet Obama. I hope its a good clean game, no injuries, bad calls etc. and everyone watching can just appreciate how good these 2 teams really are. It will go down to the wire, again. to another classic!
