Is this the same as the ER?

Emergency Department
If you ever have a close loved one go through something that needs mental healthcare, you will realize how little there is out there. The wife one time had a severe bout of depression brought on by a death, an illness, and an unreasonable work situation all at the same time. She literally could barely get out the bed to function for days and days. It was going to take two months to get her in to see someone as an Outpatient. I was able to use my contacts and pull some strings to get her seen sooner. This is why the ED is full of people who are way past OP treatment. They cant get in and just ignore it until they have a total breakdown. Its really a sad situation. We pay for every dumbass who goes to the ED for a cold or headache, but the people who really need care and could stay out of the ED are left with nothing. Its one of my pet peeves since watching her go through it.
I shower at night before bed. Only dirty bastards go to bed without showering. But I shower again in the morning. Helps me wake up for work.
if employment was not an issue, hands down the Jasper Arkansas area.

good morning teech
There is a set of symptoms that point towards an oncoming sepsis. Traditionally, you would have a blood culture run at that point and most often placed on broad-spectrum antibiotics. The cultures typically take around 72 hours to grow out before you can be placed on a targeted antibiotic. If sick enough, often times that is too late, and there is a high mortality rate. This test can give the specificity of the organism in a couple of hours. It really is a game changer and will save a ton of lives moving forward. Sepsis is the number one killer in hospitals. It can start from any type of infection, such as a cut, appendix, pneumonia, etc.
All competitive sports jokes aside, Northwest Arkansas is one of the prettiest places in the country to live. And everyone i meet up there is super friendly.

So you tell me what he has done to improve the state. Aside from CC, what big things has he gotten done? The legislature under him has been a disaster, he still cant get his head out the trial lawyer associations arse. Name some things the has done....

If you are referring to the recent corporate announcements of big companies locating in LA, he has had nothing to do with those. These things take years to come into fruition. He just happened to be the one who got to stand at the podium and announce them.
who was the last truly conservative Governor that wasnt a corrupt piece of crap in LA? I'm 47 and cant really think of one. Maybe Foster?

thoughts on gov Landry to this point

what are your thoughts up to this point in his administration? I really can't think of anything significant he has done. It seems like all he does is pander to get national media attention and hang out with his trial lawyer buddies. His latest RTO ruling timing is a bit puzzling. And no I'm not a state worker nor do i work remote. I thought I remembered part of the reason state workers in the BR area were put on remote was due to the upcoming interstate construction? Has that been cancelled?

good morning
I dont think you can judge with both retirement and family. If raising a family still then schools, crime, and employment are major factors. For retirement you arent worried about the schools or employment. Opens up alot of quiet rural towns that you wouldnt look at with a family.
half the people on this board would swap him with JJ today if they could.
my Dad passed when I was 20. Ive now been alive nine years longer without him than I had him. Weird that I track that but it just seems unbelievable. I do still remember and do all the things he taught me when I cook or work on stuff and the memories come flooding back after all these years. Mom left us in 2019. It seems weird to not have either of them.
a couple of minutes late doesnt bother me. But some of these places I cant understand how they stay in business. Last year I was having a couple of workgroup meetings every week that were starting at 630am. Several times I swung into the Mary Lee's in Walker to grab breakfast for the team and they just didnt show up to open the store at all that day. I can see once if someone is sick or something since its a small business, but I'm told he does that at least once or twice a week. Must be a good margin on donuts if you dont have to worry about opening your business.

Not gonna celebrate the death of any human, but its time for the Vatican to move back to a Pope that steers the church back to its foundation. As one of thousands of Catholics that have left the church I would love to see it return to its roots.

Good Morning OT.
I was following behind a truck that had some plastic tables in the back on i-12. His strap broke and one of the tables flew in the air. I wasnt able to avoid it in traffic and it came about 12 inches through my windshield then blew over the top. Scary shite when it happens to youl.
