Can that part of the leg be saved?

My family knows this family personally. She was bitten as well as her husband. Her husband was bitten on the foot as he kicked the shark while it was biting his wife. She lost lots of blood and was flown to a bigger hospital in the area. She had many blood transfusions, but she has feeling in her toes and was told she has good blood flow in that leg. Time will tell, but it is a scary situation.

There is a Go Fund Me if anyone wishes to contribute.

Chicago

Personal opinion, but after Terry Kath’s death, Chicago became too love song heavy and it ruined their vibe. When Peter took over and stopped performing with the brass band, it became unlistenable. IMHO
Had to contact an old friend of ours TH from your class at RHS. Got if figured out, y'all sat together a church yesterday I believe, if we got it right.
Along with the other recommendations, check out Treaty Oak Revival, Ole 60,, Cody Jinks, 49 Winchester and The Red Clay Strays

But I did play a lot of pickup ball with him and Mr. Charlie at FBC. And your dad a little bit. I'm MS.

DG was my best guess. You have me stumped. I knew some of the 96 class from RHS and RA well, before I went off to the military. I am sure we had some battles down low on the court on Tuesdays and Thursdays at FBC gym. This is going to consume my mind until I figure it out. Give me a last name or give me a follow on Instagram.

Celina will forever wear a black stain in my mind as I lost to them in the state championship

You must have played in the late 90’s to early 2000’s. Those teams were a juggernaut. 4 or 5 years no losses. We moved there in 2015, so we saw the last team that went to a championship.

Who is your son?

Where is he living now? I'm from Rayville, and also have a son who is a musician in Monroe.

He lives in McKinney, TX area. We live in Celina.

What year did you graduate? RHS or RA?

Small town, guarantee we know each other or know some of the same people.

Thank you for all the constructive thoughts. Country is such a broad genre. When he gigs,he covers a lot of Red Dirt, not so much new Nashville bro country, very much singer/songwriter vibes. When he plays with his band it is more of a Southern Rock with a Country vibe. The songs that he released are also played with his band and it is a totally different experience.

All of your thoughts on influences are correct, he has listened to everything from Eagles, to Eminem and Johnny Cash to J Cole. Up until now his lyrics are from his heart from things that he has gone through in his young life.

"What is Love" is a song he wrote about his mom, my wife, from a previous relationship filled with domestic violence and drugs.

"Wrong and Right" is one of my favorites, but "Magic Mirror" is my favorite probably due to me knowing what the song is really about, because we lived through it with him.
I have been a member of this board since 2005, but mainly lurk, however, I do get some great information from this site.
My son just dropped his first country EP on all platforms. He writes all his own songs and is self taught on guitar. These songs are mostly acoustic but he has a band as well he performs with when they can find gigs.
He was raised in Celina, TX but has a lot of Louisiana roots from my side of the family growing up in northeast La in Rayville.
I am very proud of him and am just looking for some outside feedback.

I have a 1973 Gillette super speed adjustable I have used for several years. My wife bought it for my birthday, birth quarter and year. Very cool present.

re: How do you cool your Pool?

I have one of these on my waterfall outlet. I run it for 4 hours from 3am -7am and it brings water temp down 4-5 degrees. The key is running it at the coolest part of the day. I suggest this and the more you have the better.
I have just received my grandfathers burial flag from when he passed in WWII in the Navy. He is the sole reason I myself joined the Navy in 92. It is cloth and when I unfolded it, it had never been unfolded before, it was a 9x5 with only 48 stars. I was planning on hanging in my house, but don’t have a wall big enough.
I plan on giving it to my brother so he can hang it in his office at our family business. But I want to build a wood case with a glass front.
I under no circumstances would ever fly a burial flag outside, especially the old cloth ones. It is something you want to keep in the family for years to come and pass down to generations to come. If you fly it outside, it will shoemrten it’s life greatly.
Just my opinion of course.

Gulf Runners Seafood. They deliver to 4 locations on Saturday. Usually the cheapest prices in Dallas as well. Look them up on Facebook or the crawfish app. They are in high demand right now in Texas.
