Not grinding very hard over there are you?
Grindin' to a 6-6 season. In all seriousness, I think Mullen leaves after this year. May take a lateral move due to some internal issues that he's pissed about.
And there's about a 99 percent chance that Hudspeth is hired as the next coach.

Just noticed the Ragin Cajuns are 4-1 and receiving votes in the Top 25.
If they beat Troy this week, there's a decent shot at being 10-1 when they head to Arizona to end the season. Could also be the first team ever to be ranked legitimately in the ESPN Bottom 10 and end up in the Top 25 at some point.
They got killed, but they did score 34 against Oklahoma State in their lone loss. Many in Starkville are beginning to wonder if the key to the offensive success last year now resides in Lafayette.

Did Nickoe Whitley piss on the hedges?

I can't believe we let these people in our club.
I know, its really like we were sitting here minding our own business. Aggy's over in the corner he's got a couple of hot chicks with him (Dallas and Houston TV markets). We're all drunk off our arse and we say, you know, let's invite Aggy to join us. We all agree.
The next thing we know, we have a bunch of queer nut squeezers hanging around.

I posted this on the SEC Rant, thought I'd share here as well. I am the original poster that started this Sunday night. Thanks to Tiger Droppings, this story got out.
For those of you that are concerned.
Surgery went well, he was released today and is at home recovering. They are working with the authorities to get this trash off the streets.
West Virginia University has been extremely helpful and she asks that we let everyone know this.
Also doing a lot of media work - Hannah passes this link along as the most accurate story to date.

Prayers for a speedy recovery are appreciated.

ust the South Carolina team that MSU hasn't beat since Jackie Sherrill was the coach and Bill Clinton was in the White House.
Its still just South Carolina.

I think you guys have a good chance at beating us. Idk why you're so down on your team.
I'm not down on my team, I just don't think we can hang with y'all in Athens. I still think we'll have a nice, 7-5 season, very good for Mississippi State.

You know, that's not really something to brag about.
Don't really think I was bragging. I just think we'll be focused and take care of UAB.
That's sort of like an Auburn fan preseason looking at the schedule and saying Utah State - we'll win by 40. It means nothing. UAB might beat us for all I know.
This State fan is happy with being the Kentucky of the West. 5th place every year. A minor bowl every year.

You're right. It could be worse. Winner of the MSU-Georgia game goes to the Chick-fil-A Bowl IMO. I just think Murray is going to carve us up.

MSU's remaining schedule
Georgia beats MSU 31-17.
State bounces back, beats UAB by 20+
A Top 10 South Carolina goes down in Starkville - its heralded as a signature win but its just South Carolina.
Kentucky and UT Martin go down, State gets bowl eligible.
Alabama rapes MSU.
State plays Arkansas a little closer than expected but loses.
Mullen sends Nutt out a loser.
7-5. Music City Bowl vs. North Carolina.

It makes no sense that the guy would go to the hospital in pittsburgh when there is one 1/2 a mile from where said incident happened that could handle this.
If it happened I hope they catch the people and deal with them accordingly but its far fetched

The lates news story said he went to another hospital (Monongalia General Hospital) before being transported to University of Pittsburgh Medical Center
I don't claim to know your area, but Google tells me Monongalia General Hospital is there in Morgantown.

I wish I was wrong on this one. But this fills in an important detail. He went to another hospital first and was sent to Pittsburgh.

Wife and baby are fine. That seems to be why they drove to Pittsburgh. He was just beaten up, not life threatening and was worried about the baby. Their normal OB/GYN met them at the hospital in Pittsburgh.

someone on the wvu boards claims they work with the guy in cannonsburg and he did get beat up, but didn't attend the game as either a WVU fan or LSU fan and the motive for it wasn't "team" related...but there is so much misnformation around this at this point who knows what is really true and what is exaggerrated and fabicated
Ima going to go ahead and throw this out here to squall this rumor. You WVU fans are pathetic. Just condemn the white trash that did this and move on. Stop trying to say it didn't happen.
Picture 1 is him and his wife at a West Virginia game with LSU playing in the background.
Pictures 2 and 3 are him cooking gumbo in what appears to be outside the West Virginia stadium with West Virginia fans that appear to be wearing "Gold Rush" t-shirts that were prominent in Saturday night's game.

I'm sorry I started such a racket last night
Posted by spoco79 on 9/26/11 at 10:06 am
but I'm not sorry that putting it out there has resulted in the story coming out and it now appears that Morgantown Police are looking for information about why a guy is in surgery this morning in Pittsburgh.
Hopefully the major media pick this up and the whole damn state of West Virginia is embarrassed.
I guess I understand why people would doubt a new poster with such a story, but like I said, I'm a MSU fan with no bone to pick with WVU or LSU.
I'm going to go back to Grindin' for my 6-6 team now.

I know no details. Friend of a friend posting on Facebook - the original post told the story that was being told and had a copy and paste of the wife's facebook status.
My only explanation is that if unless I had life threatening injuries, if my pregnant wife gets thrown on the ground, we're getting her checked out by whomever she wants to go to - her regular OB/GYN probably.
It sounds like he just got beat up, he's going to have to have some facial surgery to repair a couple of things, etc. But my first priority is my wife and unborn child in that situation as well.
There's no friggin cover up, the Facebook posts by the family prompted the post on here, not the other way around. If it turns out to be fabricated, then Marcus needs his arse kicked again, but let me point out the facts that we know:
1. A Mississippi State poster with no axe to grind against LSU or West Virginia posted a story and a copy and paste from Facebook that indicated that there was an incident Saturday night postgame. Did not say it was in Morgantown. The FB posts indicate that it was fandom related though.
2. The post on Tigerdroppings prompted mass searches, which indicated that similar postings occurred on other boards. Whether you believe me or not, I didn't make those posts - there were other people that got the same e-mail. Those posts are still up.
3. An LSU fan comes on here and confirms that he knows the family and its true.
4. Another LSU fan finds out he works for the same company and offers to find out more Monday.
5. Someone posts a screenshot of the guys Facebook wall that indicates that something has happened that has prompted a series of "Prayers sent" posts to his wall.
6. Someone posts a link to a Facebook post where his mother is trying to get the story out as well so these punks can be caught.
Like I said, I hope something like this really didn't happen, but it seems that there are three possibilities:
1. Its completely made up and an elaborate scheme to make WVU fans look bad after their team took a 20+ pounding (Stories like this usually pop up after a WVU win to take the attention off of said win)
2. Something happened to the guy, and the entire family thought it'd be funny to spread vicious lies on Facebook about how it happened.
or
3. The guy got pulled from a car by WVU fans and beat to a pulp.

I was the original poster. Sorry I deleted everything, but it was turning south - looke like there is more confirmation coming out though.
Look, I wasn't trying to gain internet credibility points, I was posting a story on a board that I knew would confirm or deny it in a hurry.
But for the few of you that decided it would be okay to attack me over it, I like for my arse to be kissed on the left cheek.
