Every championship team every year will be compared to 2019 LSU…
Why?
Because they were the best to ever do it.

Big12 champ will be in and let’s say SMU loses a nail biter to Clemson, do the Mustangs stay ahead of Bama and knock them out?

I’m pretty sure the committee has already said that conference championship game losers will not get passed by other in conference members that finished behind them in the standings. It’s easy for them to do this now that there are no divisions. They went so far as to say they can only get passed by a team that won another conference game
re: How often do you wear polo’s?
Posted by 4CEofN8URE on 8/13/24 at 8:24 am
Wear them daily. Other posters have mentioned Rhoback and Mizzen and Main, both great for southeast LA heat/humidity. Alon Apparel is a local brand I found at Iron Horse in Old Metairie and feel the quality is on par with those two brands for $20-$30 less.
re: What’s your favorite clothing brand?

Vuori for casual shorts, Peter Millar for nicer shorts, and Free Fly for both
Polos from Rhoback, Alon Apparel (new local brand but great quality from the 1 polo I bought), and Peter Millar
Casual tees from Orvis and Vuori

On advice from a NOLA-based landscape architect, I got 24 yds from them when I installed my full front and back landscape in 2017. Used them again for my parents house a year later. Great quality, great price, and friendly to work with.

Have almost a pallet left over from a job in Lakeview NOLA. On the curb at 401 Spencer St between Fleur de lis and the 17th St canal. Just delivered this AM from Delta.
re: What do you think of this idea for a short hedge?
Posted by 4CEofN8URE on 6/10/20 at 5:45 pm
It will definitely work for your application. Obviously, the more vines you start with the sooner it’ll happen. I used 6 one gallon plants for a 36’ (8’ height) section of fence in my yard and only took 2 seasons (New Orleans) to completely cover it. Used screw eyes and 18 gauge steel wire to train it. In season 4 now and just had to cut it back by a foot+ after bloom and already looks lush again. Just make sure you properly prep the planting area and use some slow release granular fertilizer. Good luck
