I went to school in the 60's and 70's, my whole life I hid how smart I was because of how it intimidated the other kids and even some adults, even hid it from my parents till my soph. year in High School, Parents were teachers at my HS and picked which teachers I got, they always picked the ones who gave homework and I never brought books or homework home, when they asked why I just said the teachers spent the last 10-15 min. of class explaining the homework I just did it then, that is when they took me to get tested.
