Thanks for your help. I really didnt want to come across like I was bragging to my friends that is why I did it here "anomously". There are actually some good ideas on here sometimes. I just wanted to make sure that I wasnt missing anything. I will definitely look into the IRAs. We have already started a insurance policy/savings that will pay a large majority of the college. Thanks again and any other suggestions are welcome.

Sorry for the delay. I did get my money back but it was September-ish. I am not trying to discourage people from trying this but the safer bet is stubhub. Also, I could be a rantard and say half the stadium was LSU in 05 and 07 but honestly there about 15K Tigers in the stadium. With their high school stadium that is still about a quarter of the seats. I will say that our 15k was louder than their 45k. It is the 1st year where there is at least a little hype in Oxfart so I wouldnt get your hopes up about getting tickets this way. I know I am not.

The finance side of me says that they can have a months of free money making interest off of our money. I was pretty upset and here is the answer they gave me a couple of years ago. They keep taking season ticket orders and single game tickets until August-ish. The first group goes to the season tickets and then have to give so many to the visiting school. The next tickets go season ticket holders that want extra seats and then to people who have bought from them before but dont have season tickets(like a point system). I think what is left over goes to 1st come 1st serve but I think will give tickets to people with a Mississippi address just to screw over LSU fans. My suggestion is to wait on the hotel reservations until you have the tickets in hand. I doubt they will be available because they only have a decent team every 50 yrs. Again, I had a bad experience and I tried to find out what happened to my tickets.

With an unproven qb, I am kind of worried about next season.

Luke, I know Ole Miss fans are asses but why would they be cheering for him to be hurt? He almost threw a pick 6 a couple of plays earlier. It is not like he was lighting it up against them. Just doesnt make sense to me.
