The issue is that it is not a exact time to charge. And they also throttle the charging based on amount of other cars which prevents from fully charging at normal speeds. Different cables have different signal integrity qualities. These signals in the cable are digital, but doesn't mean the voltage levels conducted are perfect ones and zeroes. Poor shielding , coupling, drive strentgh as well as transmission line mismatch can cause reflections between the conductors....

Unlike SF they have a summer. Very hot in summer. Also, if you work in SF it has a Bart station.
Plus the only Chick-fil-A in a 45 mile radius......
