re: Goodell defends Redskins name

Yeah I have no problem with the name. Actually read somewhere that the preferred term is American Indians, not Native Americans, but don't know if that's true.
He's actually a pretty good guy, just lets his emotions take control sometimes

UGA fan, opinion not relevant (jk).

The Indians logo is far more offensive than the Redskins logo or name imo, as it is a racist caricature of what white people in the early 1900s believed Native Americans looked like.

Screw UNC. Add NC State and UVA. That way the SEC has the market share from DC south to Miami, and west to St. Louis south to San Antonio. UNC contributes nothing outside of douchiness. Every sport they're good at NC State is also, and State blows them out of the water in football. UVA over Tech because Charlottesville party scene > Blacksburg party scene.
My predictions, since everyone cares.

Bracket 1:

Game 1:

MSU over OSU. MSU advances to Game 6, OSU falls to Game 5.

Game 2:

IU over UL. IU advances to Game 6, UL falls to Game 5.

Game 5:

UL over OSU. UL advances to Game 9, OSU eliminated.

Game 6:

MSU over IU. MSU advances to Game 11, IU falls to Game 9.

Game 9:

IU over UL. IU advances to Game 11, UL eliminated.

Game 11/13:

Think IU could take one, but MSU eliminates them and advances to the championship series.

Bracket 2:

Game 3:

UNC over NC State. UNC advances to Game 8, NC State falls to Game 7.

Game 4:

LSU over UCLA. LSU advances to Game 8, UCLA falls to Game 7.

Game 7:

NC State over UCLA. NC State advances to Game 10, UCLA eliminated.

Game 8:

LSU over UNC. LSU advances to Game 12, UNC falls to Game 11.

Game 11:

NC State over UNC. NC State advances to Game 12, UNC eliminated.

Game 12:

LSU eliminates NC State and advances to the championship series. Will only need one game to do so.

Championship Series:

LSU wins in three games. SEC remains dominant in every sport that doesn't involve a ball bouncing.

Sidenote: frick UNC, what a bitch arse overrated team. Rooting for the SEC teams and IU but wouldn't be pissed if any other team that wasn't UNC won. Although it would be fun to see them go to the losers bracket then make the championship series and have it go three games just to see Mike Fox start Kent Emanuel eight times.
Just gonna do the top 7 because who cares about the bottom half?

1. Bama. With or without Saban, the only school that comes close to them in tradition is Michigan, and they're in the Big Ten.

2. UF. This is assuming Muschamp is not there. Too much talent in that state for them to slip, especially since they now have a tradition to build on unlike pre-1990.

3. LSU. Great stadium, solid tradition, great recruiting base.

4. UGA. UGA is a semi-national brand, and GA is one of the top states for high-level talent, although they need to improve a bit on keeping some of the best players in state.

5. USC. SC has a great amount of talent for its size, and pretty much every top level talent goes to USC or Clemson (with USC gaining an advantage every year), or a huge power such as Bama, with UGA cherrypicking the occasional top recruit.

6. A&M. Would put them higher, but I feel that if Texas ever fires Mack Brown and hires a competent recruiter, A&M's recruiting will fall off.

7. Arky/Ole Miss/UT. Arky can pull from East Texas and maybe keep the elite talent in Arkansas/Memphis back home. Mississippi has a solid talent base and Ole Miss will always be ahead of MSU. UT has the tradition and should be able to recruit NC and GA in addition to TN.

Hey we DID beat Vandy that year. Print the t-shirts!

ETA: Nevermind, I thought that was in reference to the 09 season when we lost to UConn in the Pizza Bowl
Was referring more to the legions of drunk students that will be down there (I assume, I've never been in 5 Points during a game). They wouldn't take too kindly to an opposing fan, especially a UGA one. I remember being in the Pav's parking lot the night before the Bama game in 2010 and seeing a near riot break out because some guys on the Salty Nut porch were wearing Bama gear.
Sounds good, maybe I'll see y'all on Saturday
Where will you be? I'm planning on going to the game but do not have a ticket so if I can't find one before the game I may have to swing by.

Also, for all UGA fans, definitely DO NOT go to 5 Points unless you won't be wearing UGA colors and will not be openly cheering for the Dawgs. The Vista will be fine though.

2 UGA/USC Tickets Wanted

Posted by DMV Cock on 10/3/12 at 3:16 am
Looking for 2 to the UGA/USC game in Cola this weekend at a reasonable price that two broke, unemployed recent college grads could pay (i.e. no $500 a ticket deals). Please either PM me here or email me at edwardsl@email.sc.edu if you have any.

If you're a USC fan, you'll be helping two other Gamecocks out. If you're a UGA fan, you might be bringing your team good karma by selling to the enemy

Thanks
They could pick up some good coke to bring to Cola in October though

This.
The way I see it, MSU is overrated and AU is a little better than everyone thought after last week, plus they're pumped up cause they know all about the MSU hype and how everyone's written them off for 5+ losses this year.
