Surin West is pretty good. There's another place on that side of town called ROJO thats pretty good too! Bob Dylan gave it a shout out on his radio show about a year or so ago.

If you're coming to Birmngham for the SEC Baseball Championships, check out Downtown Birmingham. Green Acres and Mrs B's on 4th are some of my favorites. Green Acres has a limited menu, but where else can you get 100 chicken wings and fries for like $10??? Mrs. B's on 4th is the best soul food in the city.
