I was very impressed with Wash U. My daughter is more interested in law school, but my med school roommate was a Wash U grad and I have a niece who is pre med there currently and is eyeing med school at Vandy. It has a strong rep for its premed program. Unfortunately still expensive. If she decides she wants to go there it is important that she let them know. Wash U is a " demonstrated interest school", unlike Vandy. The more interst she shows in them, the more interest they will show in her. If she is interested she should ask for an interview. They will set her up with a student interview, but she can request a subsequent interview with an admissions officer. My daughter applied ED, and they have sent numerous letters, t shirts etc since she was accepted. They go above and beyond giving their accepted students attention. She gets something literally every week. Last week she was called by her guidance counselor in order to plan her classes for her first year. My son at Wake has never gotten that level of attention.
