Yeah and don't buy a gun cause you might put the wrong end against your shoulder . I live on one of the most scenic highways in the US. FM 1431 outside Austin .It's a beautiful ride down to Kerrville , Medina , Hondo , Vanderpool ,etc . Plenty of places to pull over on the Guadalupe River and swim . Always a good BBQ shack to eat . Don't let people talk you out of life awesome experiences.

I've seen 2 big cats . Cougars / mountain lions whatever , The first was on the levee north of Three Rivers in the Black hawk area . We drove up from my friends camp while supper was cooking to check out any deer but none were to be seen . Then a big cat ran up the levee and stopped for a split second on the road then ran down in the bean field across from the river . All those times that we had gone in way before daylight and frogged all night . I always look up ahead of me now . The second was the craziest thing that ever happened anytime to me . Ive posted on the second encounter . A lot of people see them around here now because the deer are so over populated.
