Michigan isn't the job it once was. They are like the old once great washed up fighter thats in denial. Expectations just aren't on par with reality.
Florida has high expectations but they aren't unrealistic. A lot of underutilized talent on that team. The right coach could make a relatively quick splash.

Congrats on a great season LSU fans. I know it sucks to go down that way but nevertheless you still ended better than every other team but one. Better to make it to the big dance and fall short than to not get there at all.
A shame two teams of this quality had to come out of the SEC at the same time.

Every fanbase has a bad element. Just because you've come face to face with a few exceptional assholes from the opposing side doesn't mean the all the fans are that way. Most fans everywhere are good folks who just want to watch the game and cheer for their team. The assholes just attract more attention.

This is one of the most popular and passionate debate topics on Hogville, especially during the offseason.
No doubt the facilities are better in Fville and thats usually the top argument for playing all the games there. But there's a strong contigent that argues the War Memorial games are easier for more fans to travel to and better promotes UofA as "the" state university. The tailgating is said to be better too.
I tend to side with the latter. I agree the stadium is old and outdated. It definitely needs some clock maintenance (don't know WTF the deal is with that). However the stadium is very loud for it's size and it's a very different atmosphere than Fville.
Also AR is a small sparsely populated state. Recruiting is difficult and it's critical that we retain as much in-state talent as possible to stay competitive. Central AR is the most heavily populated area in the state so these games are good for recruiting exposure. A lot of kids can make these games that otherwise wouldn't be able to. DJ Williams came out of this area, so did Jake Bequette. Darren McFadden did as well.

Ah the /insert team/ has the worst fans in the world thread. A staple on every board I've ever visited. Most often found the day after losing an away game.
Drunk, obnoxious, belligerent fans are everywhere folks there's not more of them they just get more attention because, well they're obnoxious.
No doubt there could be a few more at the LR games due to the tailgate drunk-fest that starts three days prior, but I'd have a hard time believing any more than at your avg night game in DV. I've been to a few of these as an opposing fan and believe me you have your fair share.
