I would not be surprised. The thing that really bothers me is the way they chuckle every time they talk about LSU. I understand we overcame a debacle against TN but damnit, we are 7-0. That is better than their fancy one-loss Ohio State team that plays a cream-puff schedule.

Nobody was talking about the NC or even winning the SEC championship...just talking about making it to the SEC Championship game (which is the goal for every team in the SEC from day one). I don't know about you but LSU football is not 'entertainment' to me, no matter how hard I try. I wish it would be different, cuz God knows several years have been shaved off my life span watching LSU games over the past few years.

I feel really good about this game and am cautiously optimistic but I am starting to become a nervous wreck as gameday gets closer, just because of the game's magnitude. If we happen to lose this weekend, I see our chances of getting to ATL dropping significantly (hopig I'm wrong). I do not see AUB losing 2 more based on their schedule.
Has anybody done some analysis on if we still have a pretty decent shot at the winning the West with a loss this weekend?

Honestly, I am terrified of playing him this weekend but our D should be up to it. I get the feeling that he has been acquiring a sense of invincibility the past few games(body language etc.) and the time is right for a letdown.

I honestly think JJ's best bet is to just throw deep every time he needs to pass...a pass-interference call is the only way we are going to move the chains with his passing.

I can get used to this...The first couple of weeks of the season, I was not even sure there was a team called LSU playing this year based on the very little mention we got in the media. Then it became about our putrid offense and the TN debacle. Things are starting to look up...hope it stays this way for a while.

Miles has been talking about getting JJ's passing game back on track. IMO, this is the last chance to do it. If he comes up with another performance like the past few games in terms of passing, I would hope that seals the deal for JL getting 75% of the snaps.

I understand where you are coming from but this year they do seem to have all the pieces together and they held it together in the 2nd half of the Bama game, so this year might just be it.
