So, then it is true. Not only have you NOT signed a contract, you want something High Speed/QP/Secret Squirrel.
I suggest you seek out a SEAL Motivator or a 18X recruiter/Opt 40 recruiter at you local station or find a BTDT and tell them what you WISH to be. I believe they'll give you the required attitude adjustment. Just from your post and the arrogance shown in it to those who are/were in the military, I don't think you are QP material.
What if you get that High Speed MOS and fail? Will you be happy? You need to answer that question first.
Until you've signed on the dotted line, raised your right hand and you are a DEP, keep your mouth shut.

Hey Dixie, just like Marines said, what branch and MOS? When is your report date? Are you in DEP?
If it is in fact true that you ARE joining the military, I suspect you won't be arrogant for very much longer.
Actually, for your own personal and mental safety, it doesn't look like you are making a sound career choice.
I'm going to place a wager that you haven't even signed your contract yet, and are "awaiting something that is QP/High Speed".
