LSU hasn't looked great yet because they haven't needed to. If we've learned anything about a Les Miles coached team over the years, it's that they play down to the level of competition in the easy games. But when it comes to big games under the national spotlight, they always rise to the occasion. ...

The biggest issue I have with it is that the other SEC teams (Auburn excepted) ended the season ranked lower than they have now been ranked in the preseason polls, yet Arkansas ended the season @ 12, and then get dropped to 14 on the preseason poll. Granted, we have had some key departures on offens...

Current SEC head coaches were 99-96 combined vs. Top 25 teams before the 2010 season. I would be interested to see the same data for the other BCS conferences....

In football, SEC is King. There is absolutely zero evidence to support otherwise. BCS dominance, nonconference records, and everything else combine to leave no doubt of that fact....
