I'm not on the premium board, but I'm not sure our BOR nor Hance has the balls to break off from texas. I wouldn't be so sure that this isn't a possibility though.
Honestly, I'm not sure we could compete in the SEC, we would probably be middle/lower pack in football unless Tubs keeps recruiting like he is. I love the atmosphere of the SEC though, LSU is obviously my 2nd favorite team as I have family that is connected.
Anyways, I really really doubt this happens but it is possible.
