re: Help re: Auto accident claim

So I guess that might be issue now... I had assumed the insurance estimator wrote the estimate, but after talking to shop more, the shop gave them the estimate.

Based on what yall said, I hope that insurance just paid an initial claim to get it rolling. Once they process it more they will decide not to risk starting repairs only to find more work to be done.

Help re: Auto accident claim

My wife (at fault) got in a wreck. No airbags deployed. Damage not serious and I'm not sure if they will need to replace any structural members, just bumper/panel/headlight etc.

Insurance gave estimate and payout for repair work at a number somewhere between 70%-75% of car value, but not enough to total. Still waiting on shop to give repair quote.

Is there anything I can do to get insurance to total?
At the moment I think I am just hoping the shop finds something that insurance did not consider in their estimate and have to add to claim that will drive cost over 75%.

Anyone know a good Youtuber or outlet that has the analytical coverage of CNN but without some of the dumbed down stuff?
CNN has trump up a point with 47% in…
Can someone explain to me why all of what I circled isn’t purple?

I mean surely somewhere in south LA chances are higher than 5-10%.

re: Income Tax - Trump

Ok understood, however what if you only consider replacing the income tax of the bottom %80 with tarriifs, while leaving the rest unchanged.

I feel like they would have had a plan for this before saying it, but I didn’t realize we only got 80b from tariffs, knowing that it doesn’t seem feasible.

Income Tax - Trump

Ignorant question… I remember Trump said a while back about the possibility of eliminating or significantly reducing income tax and replacing that budget with tariffs.
Is that a serious possibility? I can’t even fathom how life changing that would be.
No one got their doubt about “climate change” from some elaborate PR scheme, it’s just common sense.
I mean cheaper than buying a vacuum, so buy your own vacuum if you’re upset enough to post about it.
Well Ukraine has a right to defend itself but they don’t have a right to billions of our tax dollars. Israel also has a right to defend itself and they also don’t have a right to billions of our tax dollars. One little difference is it is in our best interest to support our biggest ally in the region that hates us most, we have little interest in supporting Ukraine, what difference does it make for anyone. Is Ukraine government better than russia?

But for some reason way more of our tax dollars are going to Ukraine which we have less interest in defending.
1) Sorry for bringing up israel, it’s just the first thing I remember about dave smith guy, he doesn’t have any principles just takes low hanging fruit to criticize. So easy to be a “libertarian” and criticize everyone for every decision, while offering no alternative decision.

2) Pat gave Cuomo like 10 outs here to redeem himself, just a small apology would give me an ounce of respect for the guy but instead his future is ruined, dumb play on his part.

3) I don’t recall it being mentioned but Cuomo dude, it’s not that you were right or you were wrong it’s the fact you used the whole Clinton basket of deplorables act towards half the country, it doesn’t even matter if you even were correct about covid, it’s the condescending, treating half the country as idiots that you need to apologize for.

His point is much more nuanced then the Dennis Prager "one side wants peace, the other side wants war" nonsense. Two points of many that stick out: 1) there has to be a better way to respond that does not include bombing civilians

That’s really easy to say and pretty much impossible to do as we’ve witnessed in every war ever, war is brutal. Of course killing civilians is terrible but that is the only way to destroy hamas for good. Were the allies wrong for killing millions of innocent during ww2? Sometimes yes, but overall no, because it was them or us and they started it.

Furthermore a good portion of those civilians also wish for Israel to not exist.

Fair enough but there’s just no logic to that. Being anti war and making a choice between defending yourself or ceasing to exist are obviously two different things.
He’s right about a lot but the way he is so openly against israel means he’s either just a contrarian for the sake of likes or he has a large gap in shared fundamental principles.

I seem to recall it being close to even money, maybe -1 bama. Remember Tua was hurt.

The way he casually refers to the other guy as “top”… just prime example of why most gay couples have no business being considered on the same level as a traditional married couple. I’ll never forget Matt Walsh conversation with Joe Rogan about gay marriage, and Joe just couldn’t grasp this concept.

Wait there’s more democrats?
Do most of independent voters vote republican? Do more of democrat voters not vote?
Well there is plenty of sources online that directly refute you. Yet you make it seem like it’s dumb not to agree with you.
