LSU - Online Courses - CPA credits
Posted by Geauxingthedistance on 3/26/16 at 10:13 am
I may not be on the best board, but since I rarely post, I prefer to stay away from the OT unless i have to.
I've got my degree from LSU (Ag Economics) and have been completing the courses necessary to sit for the CPA through UNO. After this semester, I will need one more course (Auditing), which is not offered until the Fall. I'm thinking about grabbing the last credit online through LSU or another online offering if the CPA board will accept the credit. I've been told by a person or two that LSU online is not the best for this, but wanted to get another opinion in case someone on here by chance has gone that route.
Has anyone done this to get CPA required credits? Thoughts? Any recommendations besides LSU online? Thanks in advance for any input.

Gotcha. What kind of training do you do?
I do snatches from time to time. I don't have a real necessity for it, but it is what it is. I at least like to think that it may give me a few more yards off the tee-box.
Haven't done it with serious weight since the glory days of HS football.

i would make the case that this lift can benefit all athletes whose sport requires any anaerobic activity.

if you woulda said a rebound or a catch and dunk. I'd agree . A layup, not that much. Won't hurt. Not the best choice though
i had rebound and deleted it before typing. When i say lay up, i mean in traffic driving up at the basket. Not standing flat footed in warm ups. Not much difference in the need for a burst between putting the ball up and taking the ball back down on a rebound.

The lift when done correctly that is. Not like the clown in the OP. I agree with you there isn't much necessity for it in general fitness.

explain to me how that's gonna benefit a bball player attempting a layup
Explosion.
The lift is designed to train/enhance the fast twitch muscle fibers resulting in more explosiveness. Same as a power clean.

um yea.

Other than people who are competing in Olympic style lifting, that shite doesn't benefit anyone.
I could see how this lift could benefit a free safety unloading on a WR in the middle of the field or say a basketball player going up for a rebound in traffic.

Thank you for the input. I keep cash in savings for any kind of emergency. Sounds like i would be better off using that if need be. I would love to find out a vet doesn't accept insurance in an emergency situation and have to bite the bullet anyway.

Any of you OB'ers have a policy on your pup? Who did you get the policy through?
Thinking about taking a policy out on my retriever who's a little over a year old. I figure a few bucks a month could save me some serious coin down the road if an accident were to take place (God Forbid). Maybe I'm crazy but as most of you know, a young lab will eat anything they can get into, and she also will be spending quite a bit of time in the marsh where accidents can happen. Thoughts or advice is appreciated.

Problem with this is i'm more worried about losing part of the door frame or the sheetrock than anything

How old was your retriever before you trusted leaving him/her in the house without destroying the place?
I have a 9 month old female that I just got back from the trainer. I don't quite trust her to not destroy my house without me home.
Thanks in advance.
ETA: I keep her kenneled when I'm not home.

Call him up. He's always looking for someone to go with him. Me him and the cousin went out last weekend. They killed about 15 and I killed a 5th. Water was a little dirty but its tough when you see multiple fish.

Talk to my older bro on all that bow fishing stuff. He's pretty knowledgable on all of it
re: When did Costa's become so popular?
Posted by Geauxingthedistance on 7/29/12 at 3:09 pm
Shimano makes Calcutta sunglasses that are almost just as good for fishing as costas. The only difference is that the lenses are plastic as opposed to Costa which are glass. They retail for about 20-25 bucks.
