I had to buy a new one 3 years ago after my 25 year old one died. Had to replace the starter relay after two years. New fridges even with no bells and whistles suck.

quote:killing the livelihoods, OF ALL PEOPLE, fricking farmers. You can’t even make this shite up. And watch, we’re going to end up bailing the farmers out. Republicans kill agricultural exports, breaking farmers, and then spend borrowed money to keep them afloat. You should check the soybean situation if you haven't already. We passed a tariff so china quit buying soybeans from us. Then this week we give a 20 billion dollar buyout to argentina, who immediately makes a huge soybean sales deal with China.

Two dandies talking about soy. The jokes write themselves.

I can’t remember the last time I paid anymore than $3.50 for 16/20’s, going back at least 15yrs.

Yea i bought true 9/12s at Chauvins a month ago at $4/lb. They were huge. I bet the shrimper got sub $1.25.
Louisiana shrimpers aren’t getting anywhere near $3/lb from wholesalers
Its not surprising you find this to be a bad thing and then belittle everyone who disagrees with you .

How should January 6th been handled

If that’s your standard he’s lucky he got away with only taking 30 punches. He could have been murdered and the cop would have gotten a raise.

$9000/month

-$2000/month school for two kids
-$1000/month groceries for family 4
-$800/month car notes for a highlander and acura tlx both bought used
-$2000/month maxing 401K so I can actually retire one day
-$1000/month for medical issues that pop up (ear tubes, hernia surgery, mammogram dense tissue examination, etc...)
-$1000/month miscellaneous (car insurance, 529, church donations, teeball, school fundraiser, dance, swim lessons, gas, etc...

So now I have $1200/month left to save for one annual vacation, new roof, new ac, emergency fund, and anything else that pops up.

I love my life and not asking for pity, but 9k in a major city burns fast.

I was a butter in the fridge family my whole early life. My wife was an on the counter. First time i watched her smoothly spread it on hot toast and realized how Id fought chunky butter for years I felt cheated and liberated

You are the resident expert
quote:

They've fricking dominated LSU every year sans 2023

2023 was enough for me to be okay for a year or two

Sent in my homestead but for some reason they don’t have it included.

The previous owners had the homestead exemption if they were in the house Jan 1st 2024. You can get a discount on the prorated portion of the time you were in the house but technically you do not have an exemption.

You are not eligible for the 10% cap as you did not hold an exemption in 2024. They jump values way beyond 10% in my neighborhood (harris county) regularly as soon as the 85 yr old resident of 40 years sells to the 35 year old family man.

ETA: Your 2024 purchase price should be rock solid evidence of your value and mine was accepted without needing a meeting when I protested in 2020.

Softball played an entire game a month ago while baseball pussyfooted around.

I'd be more pissed they did nothing....

You’d be more pissed if they did exactly what they did? Weird

Anyone who types like this for any reason is an absolute douchebag.
Two of the biggest losers on this site are your first respondents so you may be on point.

Yall are insane thinking we didn’t sacrifice Wade for football. Not that I agree with the decision but there was clearly a deal

Can you provide any evidence of this? Seems to be a common misconception propagated on tigerdroppings that now gets stated as fact. Since its clear for you hopefully you can make it clear for me.
The difference between first and 31st is less than 10K. Not sure they are making the point they think they are.

No. I've been posting the explanation on this for years.

You been posting your explanations on multiple boards for twenty years and no one listens
Cant save them again on that fumble
