I'm not saying it is Amedysis, but they were the first company I thought of when I saw the title.
Here's to hoping..

What's our record this year without DWest?

i would have to say the toughness, quickness and length.
There's a lot of guys with these attributes, though, that will never be the rebounder that Rodman was.
How was Rodman able to get so many rebounds?

Aside from the obvious toughness, quickness, and length - the x factor had to be anticipation. What does the MSB think?
re: Good Chinese food in Baton Rouge
Posted by Things and stuff on 4/5/11 at 12:19 am
Chinese food is so broad, even the picture menu places offer a wide variety of items. Chinese food covers a lot of ground.
I like General Tso's chicken. Panda Bear on Bluebonnet has some good General Tso's chicken and so does New China in central. Nine Dragon has Signapore chicken that is pretty darn good. This is all cheap, generic Americanized "chinese" good though. If you want authentic, that's probably a whole different beast all-together.

I apparently made it all up. Ruth Chris is amazing. :usa:

So you ordered the filet then complain about the marbleization? I remember the first time I went to a steakhouse.
Perhaps I am simply lacking the requisite intelligence one needs to know whether or not I enjoy a chewy steak, or not. A big strip of connective tissue all around the steak really isn't my thing. Not for that kind of money.

I eat at RC from time to time because my boss likes to bring clients there and to give bonuses in the way of gift certificates.
I honestly don't see the big deal about that place. I've ordered filets medium-rare before and had them encrusted in burnt fat. Not marbleized very well at all. Sometimes it has been pretty good, though. Most of the sides are boring, IMO.

Yeah, I'm in Louisiana. Which portions of the budget (HB-1) directly doles out money for respite care to the elderly and disabled?
Do people get federal grant hours AND state granted hours? I would assume they are not mutually exclusive.

I'm talking the kind that the government grants a disabled person/child or an elderly person x amount of hours of in-home respite care, which is basically having a low-paid, non-medical professional come to your house and help out. Typically, a kid with CP would get 90 hours a week of care, (means tested) and would get that through a licensed company.
How have these programs been impacted nationwide, and especially in Louisiana? Can anyone point me to some specific budget cuts? (I'm not looking to get political, here)

I don't know about other localities, but Cox has had the Borgias premier available on "On Demand" for a week before it first aired tonight.
re: Do Realtors blackball houses not listed by Realtors?

You don't need professional photos. You just need photos that don't suck. Some of the mls listings, when I was house shopping, were the worst photos I have ever seen in my life. Some listings would have 3 photos of a fricking shower curtain and 1 photo of a ceiling fan or something. I'd be like "WTF?" and just move on. Find the best camera you have. Get the widest angle, possibly by getting as far back on one side/corner as possible. Get the lighting as good as possible and try to capture a whole side of each room in the home. don't leave the viewer guessing.
If you have a home that isn't brand new, then here's what people assume. No pics of kitchen? Your kitchen probably sucks. No pics of the bathrooms? Then, they're probably jacked up.
Provide measurements of every room in the home. Describe how old your roof and a/c are. Throw the potential buyer a bone. There's lots of houses to sort through and I hated wasting my time on listings just because there wasnt enough info.

Perhaps you are asking too much for your home and/or have crappy photos up.
The mls directory is the driving force behind getting realtors traffic these days. Buyers look all that shite up on the internet and tell realtors which houses they want to look at.

re: Baton Rouge Restaurant Owner Faces 175 Years in Prison

The Owner of Atcha fled to Jordan because he was indicted for tax evasion. PoBoy Express hires people under the table and severely under-reports cash. They'd be easy pickins for the feds.
The most amazing parts of this story, IMO, is that there are local officials that ACCEPTED BRIBES in the Roman's case. To me, this is worse than cheap-arse foreigners cheating on taxes.

re: What's a smart down payment for a $25-$30k vehicle?

Unless you are buying a truck and you need a truck for work or because you do a lot of hauling, then I find it impossible to formulate an answer that = smart.

Sally does it for me.

The Borgias (Showtime) is already available on Cox On Demand
Posted by Things and stuff on 3/28/11 at 9:30 pm
Even through the premier is April 3rd.
I have noticed that several shows have come out on Cox's On-Demand a week before the release date. Is Cox just fricking up, or is this on purpose?
