FBI agent told Billy Cannon, " We'd never have caught you, but instead of 'In God We Trust' you put 'Go to Hell Ole Miss."
I've been critical of Donte Jackson and his PI penalties, but he played a hell of a game Sat. :geauxtigers:

Hey Dawg. Very heart breaking. Gary was one of the most genuine guys I've ever met. Free with his help and experience as a master cook. Helped me with recipes, portions, and calculations when I bought my first "big pot."
And friend to anyone he met.
The Oaks won't be the same. :geauxtigers:
Prayers to you ( his brother) and all who loved him.
Among his many talents he is also quite an artist.
Not the same Dad.
LSUDad is an old white guy like me.
He is a good guy and helped quite a few young O-T Lounge posters out IRL. :usa:
Hey I-H8 BAMA, GET OFF MY LAWN
But I thought TJ was entertaining. Better than Kige.
1958 Harden-Simmons I expected undefeated National Champs every year since :geauxtigers: :rotflmao:
Condolences and prayers for family.
The Golden Gates just got another Purple welcome ribbon hung.
Condolences to the Fulton family.
I did not see the previous post, so I am glad I caught it this time. Reading D D's essay gave me chills. Very few can convey an atmosphere and capture a moment like this young man did. His build up to the hug was outragious. I am looking forward to following both careers of our huggable Hometown Tiger. :geauxtigers:

There are several listed on Amazon. Sorry can't link on phone , but I searched "LSU Crawfish tray"
Well well I see you woke up a bunch of us old timers. Good to see you back, Chiceaux..now I can take my nap. :geauxtigers:
I R/A'd you for violation of picture posting guidelines. He is clearly showing his penis! :geauxtigers:
Like so many, some of my fondest memories are of spending Saturday nights in Tiger Stadium with my father and brothers. Family tickets in Sec. U19 were $3.00 and my dad would pack a grocery bag with homemade hamburgers , hot dogs, and roasted peanuts for his boys.( no paying those gawdamn high prices at concession stand...lol)
So many wonderful memories. He also gave us an appreciation of the Golden Band from Tigerland, as he had played in it when he attended our beloved university.
The season after he passed, I went alone without a ticket. Don't remember much except I was lucky and a fellow GAVE me a ticket in Sec U19.
When the band struck Da da daaa da! I broke down. I was glad it was cold as I could pull my hoody closed and hide my tears. I cried throughout the game, lovingthe game. Loving the memories and thanking him.
After the stadium emptied, I made my way back to my truck and I waited, hoping that Tiger Stadium would work it's magic and like The Field of Dreams, my father would appear one last time. My logical mind knew better, but my heart wouldn't listen. I finally left at 3:00 in the morning . I thanked my dad and Tiger Stadium for those treasured times.
I still cry every time the band strikes Da da daaa da. But I don't bother to hide my tears anymore. I just smile.
Very interesting. I never knew that existed back then. I worked out at Alvin Roy's from ,68 to 70 and saw a few Chargers come through and work out during the off season. I didn't know what steroids were back then but one offensive lineman(won't mention a name) sure could toss some heavy weights.
Cannon could and would play today. Give him the coaching , training, and suppliments of today...he'd STILL be a star. But comparing anyone from the old days to today without comparable training can't be done. For one, Cannon's talent was purely natural. Today's athletes are groomed and trained from grade school.

Do you have a link to that? I'd like to read more. Les is just a great guy who notices and appreciates others around him.
