Anyone played here recently?
Booked a tee time the beginning of April. Been a minute since I've played there.

We got a tee time Friday afternoon at Reflection Bay. Called last week and the pro shop conversation seems to be on par with the recent social media post. Course is looking good and they aerated the greens last month.
Wanted to play Cascata or Rio Secco again, however both are closed due to annual overseed.
Looking forward to my first trip to RB.

I have status with American too. My American flight last week that connected at DFW to my final destination was awful. It was all about equipment or crew issues. We were delayed overnight outbound causing us to spend a night near the CLT airport instead of the Caribbean. We were delayed 3 hours coming home.
6 hours of delays there a couple of weeks ago.

Roku- YoutubeTV picture issue.
Posted by lsusaint86 on 11/29/20 at 8:58 pm
I have a Roku premiere in living room and stream YoutubeTV. When I turn the app on, it picks up the prior channel that was playing. The issue is the picture is blurry and distorted as if it would be a buffer or some sort of odd interference issue.
Once I go to a different channel, the picture goes back to its normal clear self.
Anyone experience this?
I have Firesticks on other TVs in the house but that issue doesn’t present itself on those devices with YouTubeTV.
Again this is only when I turn the app on.
TIA

English Turn a few years back.
We had a tournament there for our local TBAGS league in the month of August.
So hot the cart girls left the course. Was absolutely brutal!

I played Grand Bear beginning of June.
Course conditions at the time were the best I've seen at that place.

re: Remember the melt over the QB Lindsey Scott recruitment?

At an event in Thibodaux last night, Coach Tim Rebowe confirmed that Lindsey Scott is now enrolled at Nicholls and will be part of the team. They are hoping to redshirt him this year, giving him 2 years of eligibility after this season.

For those of you who have kids that attend a private school, what is your preferred method of savings that you pull those funds from? Savings Account, Money Market, Brokerage Account, 529 K-12, etc.

The 4k Stick has 1.5 GB of RAM. Is that extra .5 GB of RAM enough to limit the buffering and interface lag?
With my experience, the 4K stick processor is exceptional especially compared to the older sticks. I have not had any issues in regards to buffering or lag.
I also have a Roku premiere, but I find the 4K stick to have a faster interface.
re: Hulu or Vue?
Posted by lsusaint86 on 12/12/18 at 3:09 pm
I chose Vue over Hulu for several reasons:
• With PSVue offering 5 streams at once plus substantial DVR storage at no extra cost was a big factor as this is extra cost with the Hulu service.
• I prefer the channel lineup with PSVue as it carries all the major sports channels including NFL, MLB and NBA networks plus the ability to add NFL Redzone as an add-on during the season.
• Although very minor, I did experience some buffering with Hulu.
• Both services provide the same locals in my area, so that was a wash.
• The one thing I preferred Hulu over PSVue was the interface as I thought it provided a nicer layout and easy to navigate.

re: Ethernet vs WiFi
Posted by lsusaint86 on 12/9/18 at 12:38 pm
Ran some test this morning at home and I’m left puzzled
Test Roku Ultra and Firestick through Netflix speed test
Modem and Router in my bedroom. Router is a Netgear Nighthawk, 5G WiFi network
Test in bedroom:
Firestick via WiFi was pulling 95-100mbps
RoKu via WiFi was pulling 15-17 mbps
Roku via Ethernet was pulling same damn mbps of 15-17
Same Ethernet cable I connected to my computer and did speed test through Spectrum site
150-155mbps speed
WiFi speed was near 100mbps
So that tells me that it wasn’t Ethernet cable
Had no issue with Roku streaming (picture) but puzzled that the speeds are so much slower but also regardless of WiFi or Ethernet, speed was the same
Thoughts?

Thanks for the responses.
Just trying to figure out if it’s worth going through hassle of running Ethernet in my attic for my main tv in living room.
Specs: Roku Ultra, 55” Samsung Plasma, Spectrum 200mbps Internet. Streaming PS Vue, Netflix and Prime.
Quality is great via WiFi but just wondering if it could be better.
