I’ll never forget as a kid getting left in the blind until my dad picked me up after dark for the first time. The sounds of frogs and cicadas as dusk fell into darkness was insane, almost deafening.

Application is open. That is all.
In fact he does have a fully autonomous car, it is just limited by government and regulations which I am okay with.
Bummer, wish I could’ve seen that when I was in town a few weeks ago.
Yea I was in SF last week and half the cars are not Waymos. I live in Houston suburbs and there are 5-6 Teslas just on my street alone with two homes that have two Teslas.

I am pretty neutral on Elon. Yes he oversells but he seems to aim super high and falls short of amazing promises but the result is still extraordinary progress over time that outpaces his competitors by a mile. Had he not waded into politics during last election, he would probably be even further ahead as many progressive car buyers eliminated his cars as an option.
He got absolutely rocked, I doubt most people would be able to handle that.

My 5 year old daughter did it this year inside NRG for Houston rodeo. Fun times.
Graduated in 2012 and enjoyed it but originally from BR; Moved to Houston and started at a big 4 firm in tax and quickly jumped to advisory. Then moved to corporate side working in Finance at both F100 HQs and PE owned companies. I make plenty of money, these days just trying to balance my personal and family life.

Plenty of jobs out there to be earned but you gotta be willing to grind it out in your younger years and eat lots of shite sandwiches.

I think people are downvoting the figures, not your response itself. Especially this board where a lot of folks paid virtually nothing because of TOPS, myself included.

Does anyone here really think that even low end of upper class folks would go through with saving $300k costs to send their kid to college in its current form? No. The system will evolve, it has to. The ROI is not there anymore for full 4 year college versus community college.

I’m saving $500/month for each of my 3 kids and will see where I land in 13-18 years.

I cant recommend Monarch enough. I love it. I have everything loaded in including mortgages, 401ks, 529, auto loans, credit cards, etc. I was super concerned once Mint went away but it’s 10x better than Mint and well worth the $100/yr.

You get a lot of shite around here but I happen to like a lot of your posts, this one included. Good memories of watching this show growing up around the same time period. Kristen sucked though just to be clear.
Wasn't the Oilman's this weekend? Maybe I have my dates wrong

Ah...yea it was two weeks ago
Y’all will have fun. The folks here are being dramatic but I will say it’s spring break weekend so it’s gonna be crowded. Check out the livestock and ag exhibits in NRG Center, lots to see. I don’t know what’s going on today but they have dog herding, kids showing pigs, etc
A couple times I have had to go into monk mode because the toilet was not gonna happen for me and I couldn’t shite in the wide open public.

What the hell. I just got in on this stock this morning after reading through some of the thread and I’m already up like 4%.

I think the distinction is paper towels versus linen napkins. Different than both of those things are dish/hand towels.
Out of curiosity, how do you know this insanely obscure fact?
How would that work for existing members? If you joined a club for 48 private holes and they drop it to 24. Would they be grandfathered in for access to the TPC or what?

I’m a member at Sugar Creek and thought about leaving there in the near term and joining Sweetwater at some point down the road. Guess that’s out of question now.

Demographics in sugar land are vastly different than they were when these clubs and courses were built but seems like demand is higher than ever.

Love the wilderness, hadn’t played there in many years but remember it being awesome
…not to mention the lost time this a-hole spent scheming up all of this instead of actually doing the job of making CATS function and operate properly.
