lol Zion's handles for a big are absolutely elite. That's part of what makes him so unstoppable. When you have the ball as much as he does and takes on as much of the offensive load as he does, AND that load comes almost entirely in the paint with the entire defense packing it in, you're bound to have a few turnovers. But, to say his handle is bad is just false.
re: Bayesian Statistics and the Conversion Attempt

From a purely statistical perspective, the right answer is to go for the two point conversion on the previous touchdown. Then, you can either 2 point to tie it post the final touchdown or kick the PAT to win.

Apparently, there was some issue where the Australian leagues use a slightly different ball. Once he got used to the difference by the end of the year, he was wet.

Can a draft and stash play in summer league?

Had $200 at 60:1 in 2019. Collecting on that ticket felt damn good.

Pretty simple... Game script. We boat raced most of those teams in the 1Q and 1H so they had to throw almost every single play to have a shot to come back. Try comparing yards per pass attempt instead of raw number of yards.

Because the red zone fade is one of the most inefficient plays you can possibly run
re: Individual LSU tickets go on sale to UT season ticket holders Monday

Good to know. I'd assume the increased supply of available tickets will reduce price for all tickets on the market eventually.
re: Vegas now favors Texas
Posted by MikeTheTiger2893 on 8/7/19 at 12:42 pm
That is just factually inaccurate. It moved to a pick'em, which means no points to either side. But, Texas is at home, which is typically a 3 point advantage. So, Vegas handicapping the game at even means that they think LSU is 3 points better on a neutral field.

Good write-up. I love when posts have some effort behind them. Do you think Favors is in our finishing 5 to start the season?

Thanks for your input. As always, it adds a lot of value to a board built for fun discussion about our team.
Rank the options for #4
Posted by MikeTheTiger2893 on 6/20/19 at 3:31 pm
You’re David Griffin. Let’s say all of these options are on the table. Rank them... (I might edit before the draft if more leaks come out about scenarios)
Let’s assume for the sake of simplicity it goes as expected: Zion, Ja, RJ...
1. Stay put and take best player available.
2. Trade 4 and Solo to Indiana for Turner and 18
3. Trade 4 to Atlanta for 8 and 10
4. Trade 4 to Minnesota for 11 and Robert Covington
5. Trade 4 to Boston for 14 (or 22), Hayward, and Memphis pick
6. Trade 4 and Solo to Cleveland for Kevin Love

re: Anybody else get the feeling that it’s going to be an “out of left field” type of deal?
Posted by MikeTheTiger2893 on 6/14/19 at 11:30 am
I think my favorite out of left field offer would be a Denver package centered around Murray and Porter Jr.
re: Kyler: I was told there was interest from more than half the league
Posted by MikeTheTiger2893 on 6/5/19 at 5:30 pm
My favorite dark horse, kind of "out there" offer, would be a package centered around Ayton from the Suns. And, I know this would be a stupid move/risk by the Suns, but with Sarver at the helm it could easily happen. Plus, who thought we'd get Boogie for what we did? The NBA is weird sometimes...
re: Kendall Milton will take his OV to LSU June 7th-9th
Posted by MikeTheTiger2893 on 5/9/19 at 8:18 pm
If we get Milton and Paris Johnson plus some of the D-line targets and keep every other commitment, guaranteed championship within 4 years.
