0/4 with RISP that inning. Barf
The lefty from yesterday couldn’t help them today. Glad he got a front row seat to this shite show

Main reason we lost

A 57% free throw shooter shot 90% from the line against us. If she shot 80% which would have still been a miracle, we win

We just aren’t really good at anything

Not great at hitting, defending or pitching. Unfortunately, that never bodes well.

We’ll flash at times but simply won’t win a whole bunch.

In years past there was always one part of the game we could hang our hat on. Play a defensive game or play a high scoring game. We can’t really do any of that this year. SMH

Yep, shouldn’t have left that out. Let’s ride!
We are in the middle of a baseball season for the DEFENDING NATIONAL CHAMPS and in the first week of spring for LANE KIFFIN and LSU football. Yet, the fanbase is pumped for basketball season 10 months from now despite a 2 win SEC season.

Having Murray run point is what this team has been missing for years.

1. He has a dawg mentality
2. He's a skilled ball handler
3. He can get to the rim, hit the midrange jumper, and knock down the 3

And the biggest of them all!!

4. In the clutch, he wants the ball and can be the playmaker we've been missing who can take anyone off the dribble or make the right play without forcing something for himself.

You right. We traded Jose. But we didn't make a truly roster changing move that everyone expected and hoped for.

Joe Dumars knows what he's doing?

He decided not to trade anyone at the deadline and claimed that we had a "Playoff Roster". He was mocked by everyone for that stance. Well, this team looks different, is versatile, and more than competitive when healthy.

Are they a championship team? NO. But, damnit, they are fun to watch right now regardless of your opinion of Joe and the team

He is the new Naji. Great player for his role but give him extended play and all of his weaknesses will be highlighted.

I don't buy it. This guy plays hard and has a high level of athleticism that you simply cannot teach. We need more guys like him on the team to are good in their role to compliment the playmakers we have.

Goes to show that you can't compare rehab timelines. Everyone is different, every surgery is different, and each persons rehab journey is unique.

I still fear there is not enough shooting but Trey returning to form would alleviate much of that

We cannot continue to be delusional that having Trey is enough to fill the “lack of shooting” void.

One of the holes is Herb going from near 40% to 30%.
I mean, is LSU really adapting more or did we just hire a new football coach who doesn’t give a F and was also given an open checkbook his first month?

If you think 10% of the kids playing have a heart for the school they play for, then you forget it's 2026 and money bags rule all
Ole Miss really just trying to stick it to Lane moreso than do what is best for them in the long run. Sounds fun right now, but when Lane is whooping their arse by 30 we'll have the last laugh
If he was not following Lane to LSU, we'd have info about Lane's next target. We haven't heard an ounce of that, so I suspect this is nothing more than Rebel bias saying a prayer that they can keep a semblance of what they've had on offense moving forward.

Its not the same advantage it was before NIL. No one worth nil dollars will stick around to develop as a depth player.

Imagine having to reload a team EVERY YEAR out of the portal because recruiting out of high school sucks. That’s what Lane is dealing with at Ole Miss. That’s undoubtedly unsustainable and a big reason why the blue bloods may not win it every year, but why they will ALWAYS or should always be in the hunt. Whereas these smaller schools need to hit lightning in a bottle to make a real run.
