Its not the same advantage it was before NIL. No one worth nil dollars will stick around to develop as a depth player.

Imagine having to reload a team EVERY YEAR out of the portal because recruiting out of high school sucks. That’s what Lane is dealing with at Ole Miss. That’s undoubtedly unsustainable and a big reason why the blue bloods may not win it every year, but why they will ALWAYS or should always be in the hunt. Whereas these smaller schools need to hit lightning in a bottle to make a real run.
0-12 in the second half from 3PT land. :banghead:

Listening to the Mavs game since I'm streaming online and their halftime analyst says "It's amazing how one coach goes out, the other comes in, and it changes the course of a players game". He was referring to Queen being utilized differently and in the starting lineup since Borrego took over.

As if we didn't already know, but the opposing teams are noticing the improvement already too
That spin move with a pass to the corner for Queen was so smooth!

Fears missed a layup and 2 FTs, otherwise this could be a 10pt game already. Great start.

I love the starting lineup with Queen and Zion together. The offense is 100% better with Queen at the top of the key

Depends on what kind of person you are.

BK - Team C, get paid to be mediocre and ride off into the sunset
LK - Team A. I want to be around the best, have the best, culture and brand is important and win championships. That's my take.

Fears and Queen

Those rooks are good man. Not only do they both have "IT", but they have skill, bball IQ, and know how to play within an offense. They aren't one trick ponies which is all our team has been full of these last few years.

What does it mean? Is this the press conference CoachGeaux referred to?

Under no circumstances would I expect Kiffin to abandon his team quite literally one game away from a CFP berth. Yes, BK left at a time when ND had an outside chance for a CFP berth, but ND's season was over at that point and a berth was by no means likely. If Ole Miss beats MSU, they are in. Hell, they may still be in even with a loss.

It would be one of the shittiest things a HC could do to his team in college football history. At least recent history. The only parallel I can remember was in 1989 when Bill Frieder agreed to become Arizona State's HC just before the start of the NCAA basketball tournament. Of course, Frieder planned to coach Michigan in the tournament until Bo Schembechler fired him and made his famous "Michigan Man" comment.

The good news: With Kiffin's X account, he'll be sure to set the record straight that he was given an ultimatum to stay or go by Ole Piss. He won't allow a damaging narrative to attack his character if he truly would rather stay and coach his team, but was forced out since he planned to leave at some point.

Best Place to Get them

They have great customer service as well. Quality all day when buying lights that you absolutely need to work year after year without worrying about what's going to work and what won't when installing.

Terrrible 1st quarter guarding the 3, but that had to be coupled with Moody having the best shooting quarter of his life.

Good fight in the second and lots of promise.

Loved seeing a mix up in the lineups and personnel. With Willie, we would have definitely seen Looney out there because of experience despite having no one to guard

OR we have a new GM’s eyes that gave Willie a brief fair look. Fans are fricking stupid

A decent GM reviews the last 3 years and realizes he’s banking on a failed coach to make his draft day trade look like anything but a terrible deal
Hulu Live + TV, owned by Disney, has a special going on until 11/5.

I would guess that they stall on a deal until they get maximum transfer of YouTube TV subscribers during this 5 day period.

So expect a deal to be worked out before next weekend.

In the meantime, Fubo has a 5 day free trial for those that want to keep YouTube TV but want to watch espn this weekend/week
That’s hard to do. Damn they suck. Why do I invest any energy I don’t know!
Trading away an unprotected first on the cusp of a season loaded in the west and an anticipated rebuild was an absolute nightmare of a decision. We are going to have a top 5 pick and traded it away for Queen. Just wow

t was a very questionable trade. Extending Juwan and trading a 4th for Vele in the same year is a tough pill to swallow.

It’s gonna be a real tough pill to swallow when Mickey trades Olave for a 4th and then it’s like Olave for Vele.
Playing devils advocate:

If one car slams on their brakes to avoid hitting someone in front of them and you hit them in the back because you weren’t paying attention or following too closely, who’s at fault? Is it the cars who slammed on their brakes or the car who actually hit someone?
Ruiz almost got Rattler killed there. Ruiz and McCoy looking at each other as the LB bears down on Rattler
Now every ball is underthrown or lobbed up there. If he’s truly hurt, then put someone else in for F’s sake.

And if you’ve trained him to be a game manager instead of a gunslinger then you’ve removed his “it” factor that made him a fearless thrower and coaching deserves to be fired for that.

It’s like they’ve made him scared to throw the ball out there, yet they refuse to have a run game to compliment him
