re: Any tips for a below average MW3 player?
Posted by GeauxDT on 2/4/12 at 3:58 pm
Stick to flanks, run with a teammate, always keep an eye on your radar, use an automatic weapon like m4 or acr, always look down sights when going around corners esp if using stalker. Those are a few basics

As of 2010, the 5 best selling beers in America were Natty light, Coors light, Miller Lite, Bud and Bud Light
Those are all the most advertised brands, besides Natty which is just dirt cheap, and pretty much the only ones that underage college kids drink, so this is not too surprising. I'm proud to say I haven't had any of those in a few years

I used to LOVE Cops. Then I found Reno 911. I'd love to watch some reruns every now and then

I can only imagine. I'd love to hear a recording of it. I just imagine Mayweather talking in 3rd person the whole time and Pac saying "Si, Si", even though he isn't Spanish.... That would be some funny shite.

First off, I have the utmost respect for Miles as a coach. Last season was special, we just ended up on a terrible note. I have complete faith in LM to right the ship and fix the fractured program we have now. To be honest, after thinking about it, he was in a very difficult position trying to choose between 2 senior QBs for the game. He took a gamble on leaving the same one in the whole game and, this time, his gamble didn't pay off. Yeah, he put himself in that position, but hindsight is 20/20. Neither did much to separate himself from the other. Now, I fully expect him to regain the teams confidence and trust in the next few months, and to preach to our tigers what next season is about....
Next season is about redemption. I fully expect every player on our team to buy in on their chance at redemption and bust their arse every single day. Now, we have a clear-cut starting QB to put our trust in. We live or die by Mett. There will be no more "what if we started ........ instead of Mett" threads. We are STACKED for seasons to come, and even though last year ended on probably the worst note possible, we are most definitely going to be in the hunt for the NC for the foreseeable future. frick LC, forget about Kiel, WR will be absolutely FINE.

First saw this vodka in Vegas and got a bottle when I got home. I usually HATE vodka, but this stuff is worth every penny. Very very smooth, mixes very well too. I'd definitely recommend it.
re: Is it ever worth it to kick a FG inside the 5 yard line?
Posted by GeauxDT on 1/13/12 at 2:54 pm
About 5 years ago I woulda said go for the TD, but since then I've seen so many games decided by less than 3 points where the losing team went for the 7 instead of taking the points. Gotta take points any way you can get them, especially in the NFL. College teams can score way more easily so I wouldn't mind seeing more teams go for 7

Dexter, the wire, true blood, and RENO 911

I was talking to one of my friends who is a HUGE Failcons fan tonight about this and these were his exact words... He is happy that they can finally go look for a decent OC.

I understand they have Barkley but that's not enough to give them the #1 spot
Im not sure you're giving the dude enough credit... He will be the best QB in the nation next year, better than Landry from OU, and he has the weapons around him to put together a great season. All they need to do is work on that D and they will be a team to watch out for in early January next year. I don't like USC one bit, but Barkley is the real deal.
re: Official Saints @ 49ers Predicition Thread - NFC Divisional Playoff Edition

Saints - 38
49ers - 21
I think it will be a good, close, competitive first half with the Saints gettin a late FG in the final seconds taking a 17-14 lead into intermission. Then Brees takes over in the 3rd quarter and we never look back. I believe the 9ers get a late garbage time TD as the clock ticks down.
Then, hopefully, on our way back to the Dome for the NFCCG to play the Giants after they stun the Pack at Lambeau!

Yeah, this week. But this game hasn't been as hyped as many in the past 6 or 7 years have

Yep. Had it been an "exciting" game to people outside of both fanbases, and people who love defense, on Nov 5, this game would have much more hype behind it. But a lot of people feel Bama doesn't deserve another shot, rightfully so, over OkieSt.
re: honey badger drink
Posted by GeauxDT on 1/7/12 at 9:58 am
The "official" HB drink is a shot of JD Honey dropped in half a beer of the Tin Roof Bengal Blonde or whatever its called. But I've heard of other drinks called the Honey Badger. At the Chimes in covington its a shot made with JD Honey and orange juice.

I haven't followed LC's recruitment too much, nor do I know what kind of character he has, I just know its down to LSU and Bama. I just get the impression that he LOVES the attention and wants to get as much exposure as he can before he commits. Once he chooses, the attention will shift to the other top recruits left to decide.

I haven't had a chance to get to Del Porto yet, but my parents love it. Nuvolaris is solid, as well as Sal and Judys.
However, I am a HUGE Boscos fan. Pretty damn good food and not too expensive.
