Thats ridiculous. Lafell and Toliver have very similar stats. Lafell is not being constantly double teamed, and there is no excuse in him dropping those balls. Mistakes happen but they just happened too frequently vs Ole Miss.

Worst Ive seen in 4 years of lurking/posting. Site went down so many times, I finally had to just go to bed.
While I was here, by the time I would read a thread and make a reply, every other thread I wanted to read had dissapeared. There were several very large threads that just vanished with so many new ones popping up.
I must have voted in 5 "who wants Les Miles gone?" threads. Just crazy.

I was under the impression that the offense had to "come set" for at least one second before a legal snap could take place. Does anyone have any recollection of a team in a similar situation actually getting ANY play off in that situation?
The decision to let the clock run to 9 sec is the true game losing move by the coaching staff. (And of course not just banging it up the middle 3 plays in a row from FG range :banghead:)

Is a face talker.
Wasnt Major Applewhite viewed as an up-and-coming OC a few years back?
Is he someone that Tiger fans would embrace? Is he still someone that is looked at in a positive light? Dont remember hearing anything about him lately, but then again, a LOT of the OCs mentioned Im not really familiar with.

OC wishlist?

Since Crowtons name has been mentioned with the Memphis job, who would be the Tigers wish list to replace him if he did in fact bolt?
Ive seen many HC wishlists but cant remember ever seeing an OC wishlist.

Bama v Fla...
2011 is LSU v Tenn in the 2nd game between the 2 that season.

The Tigers bring the pain on kickoffs!

We will definitely kick to Javi.
The Tigers cover kicks and puts very well.

When Peterson enters the draft, he will be the first corner taken. I wont call him the best in the country if someone can name one that is "hands down" better.

Another Les Miles coached National Championship should do the trick.

I thought this whole thread was pretty funny.

for me it will be very stressful to follow, lol.
The key difference is they (Fla and Miss St) had another option or 2 on the play. With BAMA's slewfoot QB, and not much "deception" in what they do, our guys will be just fine. BAMA is a pro style offense with mostly run and play action.
I know its not entirely the same, but consider how stout our run D is on goaline or short yardage situations. If they are keying on one back, they are nasty.

No doubt, youve gotta give him those "show me" touches between the tackles. However, we all know that is not where he is the biggest threat.
re: WIll Bama completely scrap the "Wildcat"..

Our front 4 is not big on rushing the passer, but they do a pretty good job stopping the run...in particular a physical, run it right at you type run game.
Shep should be used similar to the way Reggie Bush is used in New Orleans. Very rarely send him between the tackles, but mostly throw him flares and other pass routes out of the backfield. Sweeps, tosses, and other outside "speed" runs should also be available.
The coaches need to realize that someone WILL ALWAYS account for RS when hes in the game. He should be able to get favorable matchups for other players just by being on the field.
