Neighborhood Starz were a great cover band too.
They started at Kristy Kreme, on Plank Rd, then headed over to Blue Bayou for some thrilling rides. Capped it off with dinner at the original Cane’s location.
Definitely hard being a teen parent, I’m sure, but was always cool having younger parents.

lets just say he was “exploring” more than houses when he first got to town. :nana:

I felt like I was at a minor league baseball game, every time there was a timeout. (Pizza give aways, fan contests, etc)

7,925 out of the 34,513 admitted actually enrolled (around 23%). I know there is usually a deadline to accept and then maybe another for a deposit of some kind to save space or maybe dorm space. They also have to know some high achievers are going elsewhere and just applied to have options

A couple of issues LSU has w/ admittance and enrollment: Many applicants are choosing to go elsewhere because LSU waits longer for acceptance and scholarship awards. My daughter has already been accepted to 4 universities, and constantly gets communication from them. She’s applied to LSU, and will be accepted, but highly unlikely she goes, even with some OOS Tuition waived. Out-of- state tuition is crazy. LSU is not real interested in keeping local/in state students, like they should be doing. We know a Nation Merit Finalist, who went out-of-state, to another SEC school, b/c LSU didn’t offer enough money.
I wish the bar was closer to downtown, but looks like a cool place.
WEN generator inverters are solid products, and a good price point. . Quiet, fuel efficient, and safe for electronics.
It’s a mall, that should answer your question.

Do NOT go to the Galleria

Why not?! Watching people jump from the second level, onto the ice rink, and breaking legs might be entertaining.

Arkansas. They pay 90% of your tuition if you have a 3.8 GPA or above w/ a good ACT score & 80% if you have 3.6 w/ a good ACT score.

They pay those percentages for the out-of-state tuition portion only, not the full tuition amount.

My in-laws have a family member who had a perfect test score, and was a National Merit finalist. LSU offered him very little, so he took a full ride to an out-of-state SEC school.
I’ve always said, any student who receives TOPS should be required to be on the LA state tax rolls for a minimum of 1 year/ each year they take the funds. If they leave the state before meeting that requirement, there should be some type of prorated repayment. (basically the prorated amt. becomes an interest free loan repayment) The brain drain would hopefully slow down considerably. As soon as we graduated, we moved to TX.

I was managing a fitness club, and one of the victims had been a member there. There were many times that undercover law enforcement would come in and “work out” to see if the killer was possibly a member as well/look for tips or leads. Particularly in the evenings, we’d walk females back to their vehicles. I remember females all over the city were very worried for their safety.
