really screwing me on a trip to Bozeman this August with this change. Best flight from Hobby the same day gets in 5 hours later. Was planning to fish for half a day, but probably won't be able to unless they add more flights from hobby to make up for it. ...

Assuming you are going to the Westheimer Sun and Ski since its the biggest that I know of in the area. It isn't far from the Galleria area which has a bunch of hotels and food options and also sets you up within easy driving distance to most of the city.

Always went to Ocean Club growing up and it was nice a good, but haven't been in a while so not sure if its still nice or dated.
The restaurant at henderson Park Inn is really good.
Louisiana Lagniappe is good, but if from BR then its nothing new....

I volunteered this year as a shotlink spotter. Pretty easy job, posted up on a par 3 green inside the ropes and watched golf all weekend. Came with free lunch and snacks as well. ...

We rented a house just below Canyon Lake on the guadalupe river last year that was great for all of this. swam in the river and did some fishing, then took the boat out on the lake....
