re: 30A and Public Beach Access

This is not breaking news as this has been the case for 7 years now. The senate voted 18-2 or something like that and the house voted 82-0 in favor. DeSantis will sign, some homeowners will try to file a restraining order, but at the end of the day this is a win for all homeowners outside of beach front.

I have a place just north of 30A and this has been a long time coming. We were on the verge of selling since the crowds have been so bad since Covid.
That’s two pics I keep seeing, will be offered in different size barrels?
I see PSA just announced the 9mm Jakl is going to be released “very soon”

What’s y’all’s thought?
Man that Banshee is sweet, I’ve been looking at them as well because I have so many Glock mags to go with it.

Anybody have experience with Aero Precision EPC9? I dig the green upper and lower they have.
This has to be a troll attempt, right?
I'm also in the market for this and have changed my mind at least a dozen times in the last two months.

What’s y’all’s thoughts on the new Springfield Kuna?

Agreed. Next time you are on Hwy 90 going from Luling towards Pier 90 take a look at the south side of the Davis Pond diverson bridge. Sometimes there will be 100's of gators there in the current.

PTR Vent 1 is the new hotness in 30 cal, so it’s worth a look. I have a CAT JL that I absolutely love, as far as personal experience. Moving from a Sandman to that for 30 cal options was quite the upgrade.

I came across the PTR Vent 1 via the reddit nerds. I have a supressor for my .22 but would like a 30 cal for my 308 and 5.56 and then will also get another for 9mm. No idea which ones to get.
I’m trying to confirm but I’m pretty sure it was ‘93 or ‘94
Core memory. I was 10 years old and our team was selected to play in a youth game early Saturday morning before LSU. LSU arrives going into our last inning and Skip and a handful of players are hanging out in our dugout. Also that game I hit a ball in the gap that rolled forever and got an inside the park homerun.

Thanks for starting this thread, I haven’t thought about that in a long time. That was 30 years ago.

Spend more of my money. Which 9mm PCC do you like better out of that PSA or Freedom? I was really thinking about a 10” barrel because of how short that mp5 .22 we bought last month is. This will be specifically for outdoor plinking

My SBE3 has been great but I did have a similar situation with my 828 over under. Had to send it back to Benelli and took 6 months to come back.

correct. Teres Major and Denver steaks have become my go to from our local butcher in Metairie.

I've had Chene scout boots for the last couple years and they have held up great.

This is likely my my next gun, can't decide what brand or what caliber to go with. Would rather not add another caliber to my safe, currently have 308, 9, 22, and 5.56

I remember going see Ben Simmons as a senior right after he committed to LSU. They were playing at the Alario Center and they were loaded

Curious what brought you to Ascension?

This website never ceases to amaze me, a random thread about fishing in one of the most remote islands on earth, and then a poster shows up from there.

I've beem following them on IG for years, absolutely mind blowing the amount of money that is being spent. Very entertaining

That’s old Metairie pricing, but the lots are 300-400k. That house shouldn’t be over $1mln

A 10 year old house in Old Metairie goes for $400 per sqft or in this case $1.5M. A higher end 3700 sqft new build in Old Metairie will be $500 per sqft or $1.9M.

People need to realize that you can't build a house of this quality for $150 per sqft anymore. Most new homes in Old Metairie have a build cost of $300 per sqft minimum, and that doesn't include the $400,000 lot. So to build a 3700 sqft house that meets the standards of the neighborhood, your all in cost is $1.5M
