Agreed with what everyone else said. I took a plan of lessons with Rob Murphy over there and he is legit. Got my swing looking much better and consistent, and he gave me knowledge to realize why I was inconsistent with my hitting. Everything is video'd so you can see exactly what you are doing ...
Still playing eye 2 black dots ... but hopefully not for long. Need to upgrade soon. ...

Just went through my swing eval, and I enjoyed it. The coach worked really well with me. My grip needed tweaking and keep my lower body steady by focusing on keeping my left hip on my original address line and allowing my left knee to bend outward in order to get more rotation. Might not work ...

My opinion, if you plan on picking up the game and playing often - then I would get properly fitted for some clubs. If you are planning on playing a couple times a year, just grab a used set that is less than 5 years old and work on your swing. I do think that lessons are probably more benefici...

I took lessons last year with Burkstaller at Greystone. I didn’t get a ton out of it. May need to take more lessons and he did give me some good pointers. However, there wasn’t a ton of info he gave to me. He recorded me on his phone a couple times to show me my takeaway, but nothing I could take ho...

That makes sense. I am a high handicapper playing with hand-me-down irons from the 90's and a 12 year old driver. ...

How does Bebu Golf Studio compare to Club Champion? I planned on going to get fitted for a driver with Bebu during the holidays for $150 and going back for irons in the spring. However, CC is running an offer for 50% off on full bag fitting ($175). So for $25 more I can get a full bag fitting at ...
mikedatyger
I saw your episode with the LSU jacket! I also saw some of the LSU love in the comments. Way to represent! Great process I am sure....

Check out youtube Golficity's Scotland series. The two guys take about a week and play a host of courses. They show on course vlogs of the courses. I think there are some companies that specialize in trips as well. ...

re: Spiked vs Spikeless Shoes

I used to use spike, but now the only golf shoes I have are spikeless - FJ Flex. They are so comfortable. I don't notice that big of a difference with them in my swing. I haven't slipped, but if it was raining or really wet - I might would want some spiked soles. I went last week during Cart Pat...

I am thinking next Saturday - the 13th. Where do you want to play? I live in Denham, so Greystone would be close; but if you would rather Copper Mill, Santa Maria, or somewhere else - we could do that too. The earlier the better for me....
It sounds like us high handicappers need to go play a round
Agreed. I have a little one, so its sometimes tough to carve out time. Let me know when, and we will figure something out....
I’m taking my first golf lesson this Friday with Chris Burkstaller at Greystone.
I have the same average score, and I have my first ever lesson next Thursday with Chris. Until last month, I had not played for 3 years. Picked the clubs back up and want to really work at it to get...
Are you driving by at night? That is when they are doing the work.
Yes, I travel through twice per week at around 9:00. I understand that there is less traffic than during the day, and they are doing it at the best time. However, the traffic is stopped for miles. 20-30 minutes e...

I would not... I just wanted to complain. Every time I pass by it does not look like they are actually accomplishing anything. Often they are drilling and cutting crap. I assume sometimes they have to do that - one of those they have to drill it out to fill it in situations. But the other thing...

I-12 Construction work at night

Posted by lsuxtremist on 10/11/18 at 2:37 pm
During weeknights, the construction work has been maddening... Website says for "patching". I just don't know of this much patching that was needed. It has been going on for a while now. Also, where they patch it has been awful. Like speed bumps along the interstate now. Not a ton to discuss I...
