re: What is the normal timeframe for being out of work when dealing with LWCC?

The better answer is, if it is really necessary, is to call the state insurance
board.
The Department of Insurance has no involvement in resolving WC issues. The Office of Workers Compensation administers WC matters. They don't intervene in specific claims due to complaints. The injured party has to file a lawsuit and the matter is decided by anadministrastive judge if the parties cannot resolve it on their own.

The single incentive for the attorney is driving up medical bills to increase their take.
Medical bills have no effect on what a lawyer might receive. Medical costs are on WC claims are set by a fee schedule per the procedure code.

Just know that this was a last resort because LWCC doesn’t allow you to return to work until you are released.
This is not totallly accurate. The treating physician makes a determination whether an injured person can retrun to work at eitherfull or limited duty. If limited it is the discretion of the employer whether they ca accomocate someone on limitedd uty status within the limitations set by the doctor.

When they finally got in touch, the doctor that was supposed to do procedures needed was going to do it at said place and the day before, wife received email it would be done by different doctor and a different place. Didn’t feel comfortable doing it because doctor was not known or the doctor that was approved.
So they did approve the procedure. Who made the decision for a different doctor and facility? Was that someone in the doctor's office? You get to choose your doctor. The WC carrier cannot just select a doctor. Seems something is missing in this story.

Just added it was a slip and fall back injury. Steroid injection, nerve burn. I was recommended about 3 months ago and second opinion was done before it was recommended.
Have they denied it or just not responded yet?
When was the second opinion? Did they agree with the treatment plan?
Bet every youth participating in a teen takeover has done the same thing in one way or another.

Walk ons rarely get talked about much, thats what this kid is, end of benchwarmer who simply has height. This kid doesnt have any recruiting profile out there and supposedly graduated back in 2025...should tell you all you need to know.
Unless he is the new version of Earvin Johnson whowalked on for Tim Floyd at UNO, became an All American and had a 12 year pro career.

I may be wrong but it’s been said there wasn’t much (other than a handful of guys) he liked in the portal and he went the international route to get us where we need to be at a quicker pace. It’s only a one year thing
Well, seversl members of the Will Wade for lunch bunch were quoted as saying that if the international players fell through there were still numerous good players still left in the portal andtrust in Wade, he has a plan. So which is it? Are there good players left in the portal or not? Is this the basketball version of the girls get prettier at midnight?

It’s gonna be fun to see LSU in the mix for the big fish again. Even if this season doesn’t go the best, with the quality of talent we’ll be bringing in, there’s no doubt in my mind that we’ll be going deep into March over the next 5 years.
We all hope so, but what is the reason Wade was not able to sign a bigger eligible group from the portal. There are only two players who were significant players at their previous stops, another was a role player, an another played at a lower level school. Only one even averaged double figures. It will all work out if Dent, Clark and Luis are eligible, but not good if they are not.

They couldn't put away the Raiders up 27-16. All these games will be a struggle because they can't stop teams #1 WR. I have no confidence going forward with this team after choking away this game.
Not every opponent will have an All pro level tight end with a savvy veteran QB to contend with. The Saints have handled wide receivers fairly well with young developing defensive backs who will continue to get beter with experience.

He should be shifted to wide receiver, has the potential to be another Josh Reed. He seems to have good hands and elite speed . Get him the ball in space and he could be electric. Maybe not during the season, but this could be a spring experiment. He could also run a couple sweeps each game. Try to get him 8 to 10 touches. With the portal and high school recruiting the RB room could quickly fill up without him.

The Matt McMahon's of the world run squeaky clean ones.
McMahon also spent the first two years of his tenure while the athletic department including the football program were under major NCAA scrutiny. He was given strict orders not to do anything that would bring further negative attention to the athletic department for fear of institutional control charges being levied. Hence, the six year contract he was signed to in return.

Spurrier has always been a whiney bitch. He was always quick to twist the knife with his barbs. It was a sign of his contempt for other programs. He is the quintessential Gator, one of the most arrogant, smug programs with a superiority complex.
Overheard to mutter “let’s hang 50 on these bums and get out of here” prior to the 97 game.
People fawned over his folksy, down home personality.
Meanwhile Kiffin and LSU are called on the carpet bcause of his post game comment to Holly Rowe " Imagine if we had pro players tonight."
