European energy policy has been great.
Especially so now that Germany has shut off all 8 nuclear reactors.
“Energiewende" brilliance. Official policy: dump nuclear and coal, flood the country with wind and solar, get more efficient, and hit climate targets without atoms.

How many ballots do you usually "drop off"?
Just curious.

Wine has always been a terrible business. No, even moreso.
All businesses in crappy states with high taxes and super duper regulations suck. Wine making is often very profitable if done right and in a state that doesn't hate small companies.

Ok??? And that has nothing to do with the city being safer overall compared to 30 years ago. There is also live crime cameras connected to Project Nola all throughout the Quarter that have caught loads of criminals, another reason why the city is currently safer than the 90s
Under-reporting of crime and under-enforcement doesn't qualify as safer. Wife used to walk down Canal with her GM, shopping at Maison Blanche, and she never felt unsafe. Try that now. On Bienville, old lady dragged to death during car jacking outside Liuzza's. Tulane students getting car jacked. Guy (Brennan's chef) picking up his kid at daycare at the old Methodist Church, killed. Sure, they had crime then too, but there's more now and spread to what used to be safe areas.

And yet every verifiable measure says the exact opposite is true.
Go for a walk down Canal and turn into the Quarter, anywhere. Then get back to me. Good luck.

Auto / truck. $70k for a Lariat or similar. Up to six figures for a diesel or luxury model. These are not BMWs. Unsustainable.
