Grab your popcorn enjoy the shite show that is Louisiana politics! And at the end of the day, LSU will hire a legitimate A.D. and a legitimate coach. Way too much money involved to hire otherwise in today’s age. Change is good and change was needed.

Woody needed to go. Stop looking through the good ole boy glasses. He did great with a few things and messed up several things. But what did him in was he forgot he was AD and thought he was a lobbyist again and started politicking to control the system president hire and pissed off a lot of people. Including our idiot Gov. just a realist seeing it for what it is! Coach O was all of the above you mentioned on Woddy and he got fired. It college athletics!

Yes you can if your academics meet the requirements! There are people that have actually played for LSU that transferred mid year and were eligible!! One was an All-American transfer from Washington to LSU in Todd Linden.

Current rules did change on this issue. Actually got better with coach leaving. Google can easily get you the answers you seek. Plus as someone else mentioned the timing of this coach move doesn’t leave many options of schools in a position to take a transfer they didn’t have plans for!

Woodward was a joke! All the good ole boy network are the only ones pussy about this! The same guys that talked smacked when all former athletes (not just football) spoke up about the mistake it was to fire Tommy Moffit. Which Woodward told him he was safe with the new coach then allowed Kelly to fire him. Scott had to go!

How about the Thomassie kid from Catholic High he’s like 6’5” pushing 300. 3 year all state starter at LT who last I saw was a top 10 in state prospect and his dad was a Tiger going to Stanford because BK was too lazy or shitty of a recruiter to get him on campus in his own backyard. Not sure why pass up on an instate kid with upside when our OL is hot garbage.

Everything is speculation. But what is fact, even if we lose out, we’re stuck with him at least for one to two more years. LSU will not pay a buyout over $50M
