I guess you can hope that Clemson sucks?

ain’t seen nothing out of South Carolina that suggests they’re anything but middle of the pack.

VT is no slouch. SC covered easily. That said, I suspect you will be proven correct!
It was Marshall. At home.

Great is allowing 31 yards and 1.5 yards per rush at Clemson.
I just can't fade an Alabama roster that quickly, if that makes sense.

They're now 4-5 vs FBS opponents last nine games tho. That's like at least 3 years worth of Saban losses. Bama is definitely smoking, but not burning just yet?
1) LSU -- objectively, the most impressive W in the country
2) Georgia -- looked solid but not great. Jury still out.
3) Texas -- It wasn't the loss, it was how they lost
4) South Carolina -- Mmm I dunno.... Sellers me on this
5) Auburn -- I see ya! Now do that consistently, we good
6) Alabama -- see Texas. but Texas wasn't a 14.5 fav. 8-4?
7) Ole Miss -- they lost everybody. Could move up tho!
8) Tennessee -- That D needs work. Spoiler role, also ran.

What say y'all?
Treydez Greene might be the most athletic cat on the field. He's going to be a bloody nightmare like Moss was, esp with our true WR weapons 2019 vibes
On the other side of that coin, Clemson repeatedly got no calls on blatant holding penalties, esp later in the game.

Booth Reviews; Clemson 5 for 5. That stunning incomplete pass call on what was a clear indisputable TD was *chef's kiss*

And don't forget the two obvious textbook intentional groundings didn't get called on them, either.

This was an arse whooping to anyone who watched.
It's conceivable now that LSU will be favored all 11 remaining games.
Feel free to add to these...

Average time to throw for Nuss?
2.14 seconds. That's how the OL held up for 4 quarters.
That strategy worked.

After DJ Chester went down early, that OL featured 5 BRAND NEW STARTERS the rest of the way.

Monsoor Delane graded out higher than any player on the field last night. First game, first Game Ball. #DelaneIsland

Clemson rushed for 31 yds. 31. NOW we know why the D consistently beat the hell out of the Offense in camp. If it wasn't for gifting Clemson a FG with the fumble in the Red Zone, they allowed one TD all night.

Conversely -- had that SC Top 10 POTD one handed catch been correctly ruled a TD instead of an incomplete pass (?!?!) -- LSU scored a TD on their final three possessions. We wore them down and out coached em and executed.

LSU, having notched the most impressive Win of the entire weekend, SHOULD be Top 3-4 (with some #1 votes from the Calvinists), but most likely Top 5-6. Respect will be earned after the demolition of Florida in two weeks.

Will add more as I see interesting numbers.
That said, the OL worries were unfounded. They more than held up last night; they shined, and did so against what was widely billed as the best DL in America.

Sky is the limit!
