And when I see the sign that
Points one way
The lot we used to pass by
Every day
Just walk away, Renée
You won't see me follow you back home
(Because I'm sneaky that way)
Most of the rankings are significantly off. Also unclear whether the rankings are based on a one-year (present) population or upon average over time. I've known quite beautiful young women at a number of SEC and other southern universities, so would favor them.

However, based only on my personal knowledge (in the present), ASU has to be #1. The reason is that the most attractive young woman in the universe just relocated to enroll this Fall. If all other females there were removed and she was the ONLY co-ed on campus, ASU would still rank in my top 10. Are the pics loading?
Read to them every night. Seriously.

Most Ks by an A's pitcher ever against the Red Sox in Fenway. Vida Blue had 10 in 1974.

Tommy White 1 for 3 infield hit off the plate I think may have gotten his first RBI. Started at first now at 3B, did make a nice fielding play to start an attempted double play.

I would insist that she prove it.
Everyone has two parents, four grandparents, and 8 greats, etc., doubling each generation. In forty generations, back about 1200 years, your number of ancestors would total one trillion, far more than all the humans who have ever existed. The global population in 800 AD was no more than 200 to 300 million. Mathematicians have calculated that all with European ancestry have a common ancestor within that time frame, and more likely within the past 500 to 600 years.
Couple months ago on my birthday I drove past a beautiful Porsche for sale in front of a local business. Thought I'm just going to turn around and go admire it...

This weekend I ordered an MLB jersey of my cousin's son with his number and our family name on the back. Monday he gets traded to another team.
Between now and next Spring chances are someone will get injured and take a redshirt. That wouldn't count against roster size?
Before being cast in Lost In Space, Marta was a mermaid in Beach Blanket Bingo, sharing the screen with Annette Funicello, Linda Evans, Tina Louise and Bobbi Shaw.

Angela Cartwright's Lost In Space co-star Marta Kristen (as Judy Robinson) was a "war child" who was placed in an orphanage in Finland - as a child of an occupying German soldier in WWII. Her mother gave her up to spare her from the knowledge that her father was a Nazi and the resulting discrimination. She was adopted by a couple in the States who changed her name to Martha Soderquist, moved to L.A. at 14 and began acting in an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents while attending Santa Monica High School. Here she is also with Angela and their daughters, Becca and Lora.

I’m pretty sure Katrina’s surge reached a height of 26’ or something like that, so if the wind didn’t destroy the house, the surge and 20’ waves on top would have.

A scientific survey determined that Katrina's highest storm surge occurred in Biloxi at 10.40 meters, which converts to 34.12 feet. Camille was by comparison a small, compact storm, but made landfall as a CAT-5 wind speed with a lower pressure than Katrina. A single cubic foot of seawater weighs about 64 pounds, so imagine the momentum power of that much water moving. Just about everything in the bullseye of those two storms was just swept clean as though by a bulldozer.

The Sixsters is a band of girls who evacuated from Ukraine to Germany due to the war. This song was dedicated to the founder of their music school in Kyiv, Voldymr Bulba, who was killed defending their country. "Run With The Wolves" - translated lyrics are in the description.

The original incarnation of the band (with Victoria Vizhanska on vocals) may have inadvertently contributed to the election of Zelenskyy and resultant invasion by performing "Golosuyu" (I'm Voting) on a national television broadcast. They recently tried to enter a song in the competition for the Eurovision contest but Germany's rules required all of the members to be 18. I suppose Ukraine did not host a contest for an entry due to circumstances.

"My girl" informs me that the May crawfish boil was in fact hosted by the Washington LSU chapter at The Brig in DC. We should check to see if they plan anything for the Ole Miss game. She wants to go to the Saints game and probably the O's game Friday night. Baltimore does have a New Orleans themed restaurant, NOLA Seafood & Spirits, but unknown whether any LSU folks hang there or elsewhere for games.

I've been considering doing the same. Almost midnight there now so too late to call tonight, but I may check with my Baltimore girl tomorrow for info.

Edit to add: They had an LSU crawfish boil back in May.
I like to decide whether to go on game day, if the weather is nice and I feel like going. No problem getting a ticket from the ballpark ticket window. It won't be sold out.

Bunch of youngsters in here.

In 1970 Notre Dame defeated LSU 3-0 in South Bend when a questionable penalty gave the Irish a chance to kick a late field goal. Another big and powerful ND team came to Tiger Stadium a year later in a much-anticipated rematch. With the tigers up 7-0 late in the first quarter, Bert Jones was sacked and fumbled on the LSU 35 yard line. ND then employed its size advantage on ten consecutive inside runs to reach a fourth down and 1 inch for a first down, about 4 inches for a TD. After a time-out ND tried fullback Andy Huff on a play similar to one that had succeeded in a fourth down conversion at the 12 yd line. The Irish did not make the inch. It looked promising for moment when their left guard got his block, but an LSU defender (number 95 - listed on the roster as Skip Cormier, all of 205 lbs.) knifed in from the outside, beating his block to be the first to make contact at Huff's knees and other defenders swarmed quickly to throw him back. This was a pivotal moment, as LSU would deny ND on fourth down tries inside the LSU ten yard line FOUR times during the 28-8 victory.

OUR TOP STORY TONIGHT!
Feel good news! The OT has done something good!

Thank you for allowing all of us to BIRG* about it.

*Apparently AI is not so smart as to know the slang meaning "Bask in reflected glory", and thinks it may mean "Being incredible rich and gorgeous", which could also apply to a few of us, eh?

Beau, I see the GFM did not quite reach the goal it set. Have all your costs been covered? I said earlier in the thread that I intend to make another donation at the beginning of the month, so let it stay open. I challenge others to match me with a little lagniappe also.
