A Canticle for Lebowitz was such a letdown. The first third had me on the edge of my seat. The second and third acts were so bad. In other words it was like a Netflix series….

“Where would one go about getting this gift wrapped?”

If they take my card and stick it in then hand it back to me to tip, I tip.

If they stick the machine out like it’s still Covid, no tip.

Who remembers “Sports Shake” (early 90s)?

It was basically like drinking straight condensed milk from a can. But it gave you energy before 8 year old baseball games!
If so, where did you stay and did you have a beach view?

Any longer, you fly.

You fly to Seattle, San Diego, New York, Boston.
You drive to Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Nashville, and yes, Orlando.

Driving 7-11 hours away from here is worth saving yourself from the a**-raping you experience at the airport and the trash that they now allow on planes. Plus you control the vehicle.

Lately I’ve considered a drive to Chicago.

What are your predictions out of curiosity?

ALIVE ALIVE ALIVE! Same guy who okayed the mailman in Funny Farm. You can recognize that voice anywhere!

I agree great movie. One of my favs.
A very underrated movie in this category, not as long as The Ten Commandments or Ben Hur, is Barabbas (1961) with Anthony Quinn. I missed it this year but it’s usually on TCM around Easter.

Or I’d do it myself.

I am surprised we haven’t sent a Kiffon, Johnson, Wade, Mulkey “Mount Rushmore” yet……………….
