If you live on a slab there is zero reason to drip pipes unless it’ll be below freezing for 3+ days straight.

To each their own tho.
I don’t blame others for being prepared for the worst. To each their own. Same people that listen blindly to their family doctor. They’re just following the media narrative.

I’ve done nothing as a 1-2 day below freezing temps have never caused a massive breakdown. Live on a slab with no exposed pipes.

Working from home during this period will be the biggest inconvenience to both people and companies.

Two gorgeous women. Would like pics of wives if these two are so unattractive. :eyeroll:

Good man. Tried several times for reinstatement. Misunderstood. I’m a nephew of his posting in his memory. Do not like or won’t repeat his antics.

Two very attractive girls watching Kelce last night. Love me some CC.

No idea who this is, but hope they were having a good day.

Is there a reason someone is taking pictures?

If you’re a one story on a slab, you’re fine. Big myth there.

Pier and beam, or two story, best to wrap outdoor exposures and let a little water trickle.
I’m glad you’re doing well. Just personal opinion, doctors tend to have people get on medications or have surgeries they don’t really need or would be fine without to the tune of 70% misdiagnosed. Sort of like Jiffy Lube telling you all the ‘flushes’ your car needs. My Tundra is just fine 220,000 miles later with just an oil change.

Everyone’s situation is different. Not judging or saying otherwise.

‘Street doctors’ misdiagnose 73% of the time. Don’t be a science experiment.
Doctors are glorified street drug dealers. Don’t go unless you are having a major issue, and in that case, go to Urgent Care or Emergency Room.

Zero positive reason to go to a routine doctors office. That’s Pharma’s biggest target. I’m a positive person 100% of the time, until it comes to basic doctors.
I was looking at used 3/4 ton trucks and the dealers act like they can’t keep them on the lot. Meanwhile, the new ones have $15,000 rebates. Felt the same. I mention and they just shrugged their shoulders.

Walked out as well. It’s a matter of time before all prices come down. Best of luck to you.

Do yourself a favor and binge Slow Horses. Gary Oldman as Jackson Lamb is one of the top series characters of all-time.

The wife and started Severence because we heard so much about it. The weirdness is ok but moving slow. About to bail. Bad Monkey is my next choice.

The drive through on I-20 is pretty bad. There are some old money nice areas Southeast. Southern Trace is a nice golf course if you stay in that bubble and don’t venture out.
We made a big pot of gumbo and subscribed to a couple of free streaming trials (Apple, Amazon). Also have a generator if icing takes down transmission/distribution lines.

It’ll be boring, but actually looking forward to being ‘trapped’ with the family and watch a few good shows and share some engaged meals.
I was single basically 30-early 40s in bigger cities like Austin, etc. it was my glory years I guess; dated a lot. My experiences:

Single mom’s in their 30s esp professionals, are a goldmine. I was in my ‘sewing oats’ phase and threw away a couple of really good opportunities. You have to find the right situation tho.

Mid to upper 30s and into 40s (men and women) that never married and no kids…very easy to see why once meeting. Typically very selfish, self centered individuals.

To each their own, just my worldly stereotype observations. Doesn’t mean there aren’t outliers.

I stopped watching this Season after 2-3 episodes. Just sort of a bore now.

I did hear from the wife that Paige and Craig broke up in real life. I’m sure this season was filmed a while ago but interested to see the fallout. Both do not seem to be great people.
I probably will Tues and Wed if forced. I prefer to be in the office where I can mentor from and commune with co workers vs bare minimum ‘do my job’ from home. To each their own tho.

Home schooled kids and WFH for adults share similar ‘lack of developments’ in my experience being a dad and also managing people.
