Congrats people
Sadly, I'm no longer in this name.

I got into this one because of you! Can't believe you hopped out!

You could always jump back in now and ride this train until $6!

Thanks for posting this. I'll try it this upcoming weekend.

we let the open run because the music is entertaining, the music for the show is overseen by Matt Bellamy of Muse, and my wife is a huge Muse fan.

Fontaines DC. Irish guys. They have been around for a while but the last few years they have made more of an impression here in America.

Also, this show is awesome. Hard for me to skip anything Guy Ritchie is involved in even if he's just an EP.

Her and Dina got back together, she was just there to get Joel’s guitar.

At the end of TLOU2? It's been a while since I beat it but I remember Dina being pissed that Ellie left to go after Abby. Tommy convinced her to leave and Dina stayed back. Dina wanted her to move on from this and focus on raising their baby.

When Ellie returns, Dina is gone because she's done with Ellie. Ellie can't even play Joel's guitar anymore because of her finger being removed.

The Game came out five years ago. Everyone knows what happened already. Both in show & in the game. Even me, who played and watched neither.

My parents don't know. Multiple people I know in real life do not know. My wife doesn't know. I played the games so I know. Judging by the thread title there shouldn't be any game discussion anyway.

I hope you get help one day. Seriously. It has to be exhausting for your husband.
Is this going to be free on gamepass?

they will win in a landslide because they are impeccably effective at messaging.

Wait now they are effective at messaging? I can't keep up.

It's probably the best turn-based strategy game I can remember. The environments are sharp and lush, the cinematics are tight with excellent CGI and VOs, each class feels powerful and unique enough from one another and the depth of choices in what you can do in the story feels more like a sandbox than a linear game.

This is what I keep hearing. I'm pretty nervous about picking a class. Usually I just stay safe and go for a big strong guy with some sort of healing or magic but not totally sure what that will be.

Do any of yall have any resources (youtube...written posts...etc) that can help me navigate building a character? Even simple tips that a newb won't know? I actually enjoy researching that stuff like I did with elden ring since that game doesn't tell you anything.

did you go console or PC

I bought it for the ps5.

Is there a medical drama series that I missed? One that didn't deal with social issues? Because going back to Marcus Welby, M.D. and Medical Center in the early 70's, we were dealing with this stuff every other week.

No! Everything was different in the past and you're just making all of that up. Next you'll tell me star trek had social issue episodes!
I bought this game finally last week. I am hoping to start this week. Pretty pumped though this is my first time jumping into this type of game...at least I think so.

I don't think anyone expected the landowners to be such a pain in the arse.

In Arkansas?
I scooped up about 200 more shares in that 1.50ish range. Hoping to buy some more at end of the month.

I’ll be there. Not the biggest fan, but friends said she is great live. Great venue too.

That's basically the same reason I am going. Heard she's great live. Have great tickets too.
A friend is bringing me to the St. Vincent concert this Thursday at the Orpheum in New Orleans. Haven't seen her live. Anyone going?

Technical masterpiece that is bloated by about 30% with far shittier writing. I get what they were going for with the narrative but it just didn't work.

Seems to be the rational take from most. It was a rough playthrough because of the grittiness of the story but it was amazing when you're just blasting zombies/people.
That thumbnail design means I'll never watch that. That's for someone like SouthEasternKaiju.
I may have missed it in this thread but I'm surprised people aren't going crazy about Silksong showing up.

This is a weird melt.

Seriously. Maybe post this after next week's announcement if it stinks. I figured this was all the filler minus metroid prime 4.

For what it's worth, I haven't bought a Nintendo system since the gamecube but I'll be buying a switch 2 on day 1. I can't believe I missed the switch era. I love it whenever I visit family.

In Big Daddy when Julian throws the stick on the ground to knock over the rollerblader, it shows him jumping in celebration before the guy even falls. (And leads to one of my favorite throwaway lines… “God damned stick!”)

So good. I always loved that it's Adam Sandler yelling it.
