As much as I would relish such an outcome, I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen. UM is just too good this year and we are not. Yes, I'll pull for that 6th win and hope for a Independence Bowl bid if we somehow succeed, but that would be a near Griswold Family Christmas miracle. Who knows? Mayb...

Not exclusively, no. Hard to make the argument that it was when 5 slave states fought for the Union. Ironically, the LAST slave state admitted to the Union was approved by Lincoln himself; West Virginia in 1863. ...
