My husband has been a police officer for 18 years. He’s currently a crimes against children detective and was a homicide detective before that. I do not know how he does it.

We were at a retirement party tonight, watching the game on our iPad and couldn’t hear anything. Can someone explain why it wasn’t ruled a home run? Don’t shoot the messenger. My husband is asking.

Thanks for posting that video. My husband is an officer in Dallas and I can’t even begin to tell you the hell we are living as a family right now. I have never cried more tears. I have never been more fearful for my children’s safety. I have never been so scared that my husband isn’t coming home. It absolutely sucks right now. And on top of that, we have our “friends” sending us messages full of hate and vitriol. I wish my husband could do what that officer did and quit. I pray every day that he gets that opportunity soon.

There has not been a single day that I haven’t seen my kids in person. Granted they are 2.5 and 7 months old.

Last time I stayed there, the valet left our key in another car. When we asked them to bring the car around because we were ready to leave, they couldn’t find the key. They finally found it... in a car that had left days earlier and was currently in Georgia. Soooo good luck if you valet.
