I have two family members that are in Landry's hunting club/camp and are good friends with him. Here are the details and timeline I have from them.
Verbal agreement today between Lane and LSU. Ole miss team is finding out now at the moment. OM team meeting tomorrow mid morning with Lane.
Lane signs with LSU tomorrow afternoon and official announcement coming on Friday morning.

Frank Wilson and Cory Raymond are staying on.
Improved deal for Blake Baker in process.

Stupid Sheet like this. Playing games with juggernaut power houses. Going to both teams to see who pays the most. He doesn't need to tour the football stadium of LSU and Florida. He and Sexton are using leverage.
On top of that, there is no way he doesn't do this again in 3-4 years. Lane is for Lane.
LSU needs a real coach. This will be worse than BK. How LSU and its fans dont see this coming is beyond me.
He left FAU right before a bowl game for more money. Got fired from USC because of his bad record. Coached ONE year at TN before jumping ship.
