Hi Antique- do you have a central site on eBay to view your haul?
Partridge Doors in Clinton.
They are a old-school family owned business.
By that I mean very knowledgeable and thorough with good prices
Just last week, I had my garage door repair man replace my bottom seal (among other work).
Instead of a slide in new rubber seal, he measured the width as 18 foot. Said he would be back in two days with parts.

He installed a brand new aluminum bottom seal with the rubber part built in.
Garage door now seals tight- well worth the $134 cost.
Rush Limbaugh used to talk about the “4am Democrat talking point fax” for years.

He noticed and wondered- who is the author of their daily script
I had two HE washers with no agitator, scum buildup was very common.
I used Tide washer cleaning powder and the drum clean cycle about once a month.

Side note-BOTH washers failed within 3 years each. Drum suspension failed due to violent spin cycle.

So I went back to the old school agitator (HE)washing machine, and the scum no longer builds up.
My Son was a serious and professional drug addict.
I got tired of propping him up and called Salvation Army about him going and staying there-They said he to test test clean for drugs before they would let him stay.

That’s when I stopped giving to the Salvation Army.

Meanwhile, to finish the story, my son went to his fifth rehab site and it worked!

As a matter of fact, he is a shift supervisor over six workers and 76 patients at the very rehab he went to!

So he is doing great, and I can care less about Salvation Army.

He and I kick in together and give to Samaritans Purse together.
I’m 67, very disciplined in my drinking.
Every day- two 12 oz cans of light Beer +~80 mls of Fireball.

Always between 2:30-4:30.
Before dinner- never anything with Dinner or afterwards.
Football , Nascar, Baseball or not, doesn’t matter.

No hangovers, helps to decrease my borderline high Blood Pressure.

I liked it, got caught up on all the episodes.

Unlike BBT, it is witty, quick moving- and DOES NOT have a laugh track, which I despise
8 homes total- lots of corporate moves from 1978 to 2000. Relocation always paid for.

Been in this house for 24 years, its paid for and I’m retired. May downsize one day as a cash sale.

My first home was FHA at 10.5%. That was common during the Jimmy Carter days.

re: PLEASE Help! Internet speeds...

I had a similar problem when Xfinity increased my speed to 330 at no extra charge.
Turned out, my next down the line router AND two switches were rated for only 100 mps.

Replaced all with gigabite router and two gigabite swithches- everything worked according to parents modem speed now
I live in the Madison area, her trial was big news daily.

Let me clean things up here :

1) she was a typical self-centered product of a broken home.
2) the prison psychologist, who has interviewed dozens of intakes, saw no evidence of drug paranoia, psychosis, or delusions
3) her regular shrink, that had seen her on over a dozen scheduled meetings- ditto
4) her family had security cameras in every room of the house, submitted as evidence. On the day of the mother, her Mother went to her room, found a THC vape pen- the Killer then took a 357 and shot Mom 3 times point blank (on camera)

Her surviving “family” hired possibly the worst Defense lawyer available- a TV ad DUI lawyer, who had zero experience in criminal defense.

The Judge had to regularly threaten her Defense team due to irregularities and being over their heads.

Her Defense team advised her to reject the Prosecution recommendation of 40 years with probation, rolled the dice and lost.

Now that she lost bigly in the Jury trial, here comes all the pablum about drugs, SSRI’s etc.
Consider a hdmi splitter box.

I use one for my Direct TV for signal to to the kitchen tv.

You take the hdmi output of Comcast receiver, connect to a hdmi splitter- one input, two outputs.

In my case one output goes to my family room tv, the other output to my kitchen tv.

Less than $15 on Amazon, it is a game changer.

I do know that if the Jet Dry dispenser is empty, the heating mode doesn’t activate at the end of cycle.
I also have a GE dishwasher
When I was younger, I thought sexy women were the ones I’d see in Victoria’s Secret catalog.
Now that I’m older with a 3 acre yard, there’s nothing sexier than a sweaty woman on a zero turn, cutting the yard for me

re: Do you use your dining table?

Posted by Central MS on 6/9/24 at 10:39 am
We use ours maybe twice a year.

Most of the time, its my Jigsaw Puzzle table.
I call it the Puzzle Room.
I received a Chemistry degree from Mississippi College.
First 4 years as a Research Chemist made diddly.
Got into Chemical Sales and made more the last 15 years of my work career than a PHD.

its not the degree- its what you can pivot to with that degree.
Retire early.
My after lunch 1 hour nap keeps me going ??

Do you have Pull A Part junk yard in your area?
They will dispatch the tow truck and pay you for it. How much, depends on vehicle
