The reason why we’re not getting much done in congress anymore is because of the sharp divide and unwillingness to compromise, and I blame far right republicans for that. Sorry, it’s just the way I see it. Mike Johnson has impressed me though with his willingness to work with Democrats and we need more of that.

1. He’s old and people are tired of career politicians. People like young, exciting, charismatic leaders even if they aren’t experienced. Biden lacks that and he’ll have to continue to address it.

2. Misinformation from Russia and the Trump coalition. They’ve led a lot of the pedo/corruption conspiracies that are false.

I thought he should drop out and let someone else run until the speech last night. I think he may still have some fight left in him, especially if he shifts the narrative from “old and senile” to “old and experienced”.
