where Burden will transfer next year? And do you still consider Missouri Arkansas’ farm club? Just asking. Oh, and Brizile is looking great in case you wanted to know.
Lol. Just messing with you. Oklahoma born and raised, but a Hog grad and fan.
Don’t be coy with us.
Aggies would think the Crimson Tide would be “good eating”. Reminds them of a gonorrhea infused skin flute.
From the outside lookin in, many think that Jerry Jones and the Waltons bankroll most of Arkansas athletic facilities. While it's true that both contributed significantly to the program, there are several other "big time" donors.

Jack Stephens of Stephens Inc. of little Rock, The Hunt Family (JB Hunt Trucking), Pat & Willard Walker Foundation (Baum-Walker Stadium and several other facilities), Bogle Park (Bob and Marilyn Bogle and the Bogle family), David Washburn (one of the entrances at Bud Walton Arena is named in his honor), and others.

Yes, the Waltons have contributed a lot of money to Arkansas Athletics, but some of the other large contributors' money comes indirectly from Wal-Mart. Bob Bogle was Sam's first store manager at the Walton Five and Dime. He also coined the name Wal-Mart (LINK Willard Walker was hired by Sam in 1959 to run the Walton's Five & Dime in Fayetteville.

I'm not certain that David Washburn worked for Wal-Mart, but his brother, Colon, did. He rose to the level of Executive VP at Wal-Mart. So, David probably made a fortune on Wal-Mart stock.

Most, if not all the initial Wal-Mart Associates and/or stock-holders have pass. But, their money lives on mostly in NWA and are Razorback Fans.
